This is a simple little gadget, the kind you don't know you need until you have one. It came flat-packed in the box, and no instructions are necessary, you can see how to assemble it from looking at the picture. It is made from smooth black plastic, with adjustable legs that you add or remove sections from if you need to raise or lower it. Once assembled, it will not come apart if you lift it, and it sits on rubberized end caps that do not allow it to slide. It is amazingly sturdy for it's size and materials, the parts snap together tightly and don't wiggle. No information on weight limits. It is called a monitor stand, but I use it with a 16.5 by 10.5 inch laptop, and it holds that with no issues, and still allows for a little ventilation underneath. I suddenly have plenty of room for my mouse and stereo speakers. I now have room to write alongside the laptop, and even have about 3" by 13" space underneath to hide papers and binders out of the way. There are two slots on the back that hold your cords out of the way. This has turned out to be an amazing bargain, so I'm getting another for my printer. Maybe one for the end table to put the security camera monitor on, and hide the TV remotes.
My Brother network laser printer was sitting on the crowded desk. Adding paper to its drawer was a pain since I usually have to move stuff to get drawer access. Raising the printer up 4” / 10 cm was perfect and solved the problem plus now there's space underneath the printer for papers, etc.. The stand is lightweight but of strong construction. Unlike a monitor, you can't put a heavy laser printer up on books. The stand is spec'd for 22 lbs. / 10 kg., but the printer weighs 24 lbs. No issue there. It's just the right size to hold the large printer. Along the back it has cord dress retainers to help keep things neat. It assembles easily, a bit like a simple Lego project. Takes just seconds to assemble on sight. The height can be adjusted to 3 levels by using more or fewer blocks. The lowest blocks have large non-slip feet to keep from scratching the desk. As well, it is designed to be easily stackable if you buy more than one of these.
The Mind Reader Guide Adjustable Plastic Monitor/Laptop Stand is exactly what I needed for my laptop. It's made of heavy plastic and has 2 extensions for each corner that push together easily. And there are smaller pieces that have a spongy rubber on them that keep the stand from moving or sliding. They work really well! There is also a flat piece that fits on the top in each corner to give it a finished cover. The extension pieces are exchangeable with the other Mind Reader products, too. I am using 1 piece in each corner so that it isn't too high for me but using 2 pieces in each corner gives you enough room to put a keyboard or other things underneath. I love that I can put the power cable to my laptop under it instead of having to wind it around the back of my laptop. It's much easier to detach and attach now. Each extension piece is approximately 1-1/2" square and 1-3/4" long. The stand is about 17" wide and 13" deep. I have been telling friends and family about the Mind Reader stand products and I recommend them to anyone who would like to organize their computer work area with sturdy, adjustable items that look great, too!
This is the best thing I lived it works perfectly for what I wanted there was one problem with it on the leg because the cap is stuck on it and I can't put it on the leg but my dad fixed it
I love this I have set it up so that my laptop is at an angle, which is much easier on my neck. I always felt like the screen was a million miles away. I have always had problems because I wear bi - focals and then need to lean forward to see clearly which hurts my back. this 1 little stand has solved 90 % of these issues and I couldn't be happier. Because of the vents in the stand my laptop also stays much cooler. Light weight super easy to assemble and very easy to stash away when I need the table space. Great Product wish I had one years ago !
I bought 3 of these so my son could stack his consoles on his desk since he is mostly a PC gamer. These work GREAT. The have non-slip feet and they are wide enough and the adjustable legs give enough airflow inbeween the shelve for the console not to overheat. I'm not sure why the company doesn't market this as such because there is NOTHING out there as a stackable shelving unit for consoles. I got the 3 in 2 days, but one of them arrived without the legs. but they all would have been perfect. Will order once they are in stock!
I really like the Mind Reader guide adjustable Plastic monitor/laptop stand. It gives me the little height that is needed so I don't get cramps in my neck looking downward at my laptop all the time. It also make using my laptop in bed which I do quite a lot much easier. I wish I had thought to get this item sooner. Its adjustable so you can get the height that is just right for you. Anyone can use it, its easy to assemble and great for all ages. I also let my four year old granddaughter use it, shes uses it as a art table so there are many uses for this little stand/table. Great item by Mind Reader, I guess you can say they read my mind because its just what I needed.
This actually fits my laptop perfectly. It measures 16.5 inches wide between the legs and is lightweight, sturdy, and very, very easy to put together. You can also lower it by an inch or two if it is slightly too high as the legs are put together in 3 parts, and it actually looks fairly modern. There are also cable management slots in the back. I use it all the time to do work on my lap top when I am sat on the sofa or at m desk as it raises it up to a better height for me to use. I will be getting a second one, something so simple but has made using my laptop even easier. Absolutely love it!!
This sturdy stand is wonderful to give the monitor height, without losing space on a desk. Following it's arrival I immediately put this under my computer monitor. This stand is perfect to use for such. It is a sturdy hard plastic, The stand does not slip and slide, stayed in place, rendering stability. I recommend this to anyone who desires height or extra room for the computer or monitor.
This laptop adjustable stand came in handle over the weekend. The material is plastic and can only hold a small laptop which I have. I tried to use it with my bigger laptop in it didn't adjust or move to accommodate when I tried it crack a little. The set up was very easy I think my three year old niece could have set it up, other than that it is nothing spectacular about this adjustable laptop stand. I would recommend this only to someone that has a very light small laptop or maybe they can use it while in there bed reading there kindle nothing that is big or heavy.
