Mirro 16-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker, Canner

Mirro Pressure/Cooker is made of lasting material. I purchased my fist Mirro Pressure Coooker many years ago and it has lasted over 30 years and I'm still using it. I purchased this pressure cooker for my son. I would recommend this product to those who like to can. The cooker can be used for just cooking large size meats or foods. Please read directions before using if you have never used a pressure cooker before. Walmart has a great price on this product.

Haven't used the pressure canner yet, not until Summer! It's the middle of winter now:-) However, upon inspection, the quality is excellent. Just what I wanted and needed. I didn't want a pressure canner with the dial and all the unnecessary "stuff" cluttering up the lid. This is exactly what I was looking for. Three little caps, one each for (5/ 10/ 15) lbs pressure. Just pop on the little cap that corresponds to the pressure you need and it does all the work. It was delivered to me in record time. I am totally happy with the product and with the timely manner in which Walmart delivered it. The whole experience was win/win!

We have not used it yet, probably this weekend, but it looks very nice and simply designed (which is the plus for these things).

I have a smaller version of this. I wanted one without a pressure gauge that you have to continually monitor. This is my third Mirro Pressure Cooker/Canner. Love it, easy to clean and use. I would recommend it to anyone that is serious about canning meats, veggies etc. that need to be processed under pressure. I have canned green beans, chicken, venison, beef and pork with this canner in the last 3 weeks. EXCELLENT VALUE!

I needed a pressure canner that was weighted and my friend has this one, just an older model. The thing I don't like about this one is they changed the weights and the way the new one works, it's does a weird spinning thing. I prefer the straightforward obvious way it used to work. However, I was able to make it work. And it worked well.

Very big pot. Expected it to cost more. Very pleased.
