Our regular icemaker can't keep up when we have company so I purchased this. It does a great job and fast. So easy- add water walk away and you don't have to worry about watching it. When full, it stays powered and cold until you empty- then starts again.

I need to drink a lot of water because I'm on a lot of medication that gives me dry mouth. needless to say I need a lot of ice cuz who wants to drink room temperature water, not I. this 69.99 treasure chest of Cold Love has changed everything for the best. immobility has nothing on me now. YAY!

Bought this for the house for Christmas. I was worried it would be a waste of money. This is worth every penny and then some. We have a new cancer patient in the house. So we are going through A LOT of ice. These cubes are the perfect size to hold in the mouth to melt. They are also amazing for chewing. The ice is made quickly and quietly. Self cleaning function is nice. There is a drain plug underneath, so you don't have to tip it and wait for the freon to settle. Handle makes it easy to carry to the sink for cleaning. It holds much more water than I expected. The ice scoop holder built into the cover is handy. There is no worry of contamination or misplacing the scoop. I love that it doesn't ice over like our built in ice maker. It is nice and quiet too. I am buying a second one for the bedside of our cancer patient.

Amazing how fast it start working!!! Perfect, perfect !!! My automatic freezer's ice cubes stop working and it is really expensive to repair it. I filled ice trays manually for a long time and now I have this little jewel which I only fill the ice bucket with. I really love it specially when I don't have to do almost anything. This is one of the must have appliances that you have to have at home. I was right with the brand. It came perfectly wrapt. Easy cleaning and filling the water. Very Happy !!!!

Small, portable with handle and easy to use. A little heavy, but convenient way to make ice at home when ice maker in frig stopped. Big appliances are ultra expensive to fix nowadays.

It works as its designed. It would be great for a small party, since the ice tray is pretty small. But its not great to make ice to keep in the freezer. The ice is wet and when you put it in the freezer, you get a solid rock of ice. I'll have to return it.

Kind of on the small side but works fast and well. Ice is thick but not to hard. I love to eat soft ice so the ice being somewhat soft is a plus. It only makes 1 size (large) bullet shaped ice. Has a great scoop holder on the front. Easy to fill with water. Very quiet until the ice dispenses, of course.

the whole reason I got an ice machine is so I didn't have to take up room in my freezer with ice or making ice. this wasn't what I expected it makes ice and if you don't take it out right when it's done being made it begins to melt it makes small little pieces of ice and when you put them in the freezer they all stick together and become one big piece it becomes more of a hassle and it's not what I was looking for

Let me start by saying I'm new to the counter top ice machine. I am almost sure they all do the same things. This runs constantly. It never shuts off. The ice makes and melts in the hopper. Self Cleaning? How? I have to clean this ever few days to keep the water clean.
