great thermometer for all types of baking and cooking. i had a problem that i sometimes would overcook my chicken or meat, and with this, i can now just check the temperature to make sure it is cooked correctly. it came with the battery already installed, and i like that it bends to store anywhere.
Used this immediately and it worked great. Easy to clean and it shuts off automatically when folded.

This was my 2nd time purchasing the Viking bowl set. In my first review, I RAVED about this set of bowls and then I ordered a set for my daughter and an additional set for myself. This set is STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS, PERFECT SIZES, INLAID SILICONE LIDS ARE A TREASURE, etc. I use one set for displaying my vegetables on my cutting table and the second set is my go to set for all my baking and breads. You will LOVE this set and I bet you will seriously consider getting a second set as well.
I purchased the Viking 10-pc bowl set for my daughter. She simply loves how good they look, the variety of sizes and especially the silicon noslip bottoms.
These bowls are beautiful! The rubber bottom Keeps them in place. Despite other reviews, I haven't had any problems with the lids. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Where has this been all my life?! I LOVE it! Also good to test the temp of beverages, which is actually why I bought it! Adding honey to beverages above 104° kills all its healthy enzymes and cancels it's benefits and causes it to be merely an expensive sweetener! I LOVE the folding feature of the probe, which acts as an on/off switch, saving battery life!
Mixing bowls are very nice. However my bowls were scuff/ dirty on bottom?
Wish I had read the 1 star reviews. The lids work ok at room temperature, but once in the fridge, they contract and pop up. Very disappointing. The bowls are great, nonslip bottoms and the rims make them easy to handle. Just a shame about the lids.
It worked very well additionally, but after three and a half months it showed the fixed temperature of -53° or something like that. I changed the battery and that made no difference. It looks like it just stopped working. Walmart would not refund as it was over 3 months since I bought the item. I wrote to the seller through Walmart at their suggestion, with no response from them.
