When making less than a full pot of coffee, the filter stays in place and does not fold over as others may do. It also filters debris that falls through a reusable mesh filter, pooling at the bottom of the cup.

I like this model because it makes a large pot of coffee yet not too large. The coffee is absolutely delicious and the filters are easy to find at Walmart and there's everything to like about the product. It is simple to use. I am totally blind and I don't have to worry about clocks and timers on my coffee pot with this product. It has a nice toggle switch which is on or off you even can fill the machine with cold water from the office I should say faucet tap and put your coffee in the filter and put the filter in the basket get it already before you go to bed then when you get up the next morning plug it in turn on the toggle switch and it just starts making coffee. It's a wonderful product. truly, Brent

Expensive but worth ot. Mr Coffee filters are hard to find but don't allow grounds to leak over into coffee. Best filters.
