Mucinex Fast-Max DM Max & Nightshift Cold and Flu Medicine, OTC Day/Night Cough Medicine, 2x6 fl oz

My daughter had a cold/flu that knocked her off her feet. A friend of mine swore by this product so she tried it. She said it helped her more than anything else she had tried.

Mucinex DM has been awesome for my cough. My Dr thinks it may be allergies and recommended a nose spray with steroids. I have post nasal drip that causes a non stop cough. The nose spray does not help. Zyrtec and Claritin did not help either.

Great for cough, especially drag of great for cough, especially dry cough. I recommend this to customers experiencing chronic coughs.

I sure hope this isn’t habit forming because I sleep soundly. I fall asleep quickly. Even my dreams are nicer, in pastel colors! It also helps with a night cough to break up mucous. Great product.

Doesn't taste as bad as other cough suppressants

These products provide a soothing relief for chronic and seasonal bronchitis . Especially during the spring and fall months. They help get rid of the phlegm and coughs. My only complaint is it's not much syrup for the price. I've had to purchase this Day/Night combo three times and I'm just starting to get well.

This product was not designed for elderly people. It is very difficult to remove the lid, read the miniscule instructions, and see the dosage line on a purple dosage cup. OMG, the taste! It's so bad. The effects come on quickly - your head feels dry like a cactus, but it does stop coughing and nasal congestion. It doesnt do a lot for sore throat. The max dosage, which I had to learn using a magnifying app, is 4 hours, so you'll be re-dosing during the night. Like clockwork, I awoke coughing with a very dry and sore throat, as well as the return of full symptoms. I chose not to ever take this medication again, and feel strongly enough about its shortcomings to inform others of how it may affect them as well.
