5 stars because of the price: $130. Oct 2025 money. A big name brand bike will run you $600 So when I purchased this, it was with the expectation that I'd have to return it within a month for falling apart. All my rankings are based on how close to a premium bike it feels vs how I'd expect bargain-basement to be. I expected 2 out of 5 stars in every category, but was pleasantly surprised. The things that were as expected weren't deal breakers for me. Durability: 5 out of 2 so far. I weigh 235 lbs, and it's not bothered by that. Walls of the steel frame look pretty thick. Stability: 5 out of 2 stars. Only the slightest of unavoidable wobble if you torque the rear handle bars. Comfort: 3 out of 2. The seat tilts a little back if the pedal height is set closer to the ground. To prevent chafing, I had to set the pedal height so high that it's difficult to get into the seat. Outside that, it's fine now. The seat padding is okay. Being able to lean back on the back rest is very nice. Very happy that I can pedal comfortably barefoot. Quiet operation: 5 out of 2. I can only imagine a $2,000 bike being any more quiet. Weight: They claim 18.5 lbs. Hard to believe. This thing weighs a ton. Impossible to carry up stairs without help unless you're already an athlete. Don't know how they'd reduce the weight without compromising durability, so I give this a pass. English Instruction Book: 3 out of 2. One of the pictures is wrong, and good luck figuring out how to use the display from the wording. Assembly: 4 out of 2. I was very pleased that the bolts are arranged by the steps in the instruction book. 2 tools included. And there is a QR code for a marginally helpful assembly video. Easy to get the wheels of the front floor bar backwards, but the rest is near idiot-proof. 2 bolts would not line up for connecting the backrest to the seat. Bestvp customer service suggested smacking them in place with a hammer. Stripped the threads, but the nuts went on anyway! Go fig. Resistance control: 2 stars. Here's my impression of each setting on a scale of 1 to 10. Setting 1 and 2 = 0 resistance, 3 through 6 = 0.1, 7 = 5, 8 = 9, 9 = 21, 10 = 42. I kid you not. This is not 10 resistance settings. It is only 3ish. 10 is so extreme you may as well be climbing stairs with a fridge. Doubt I'll ever be able to go above 8 for more than a few seconds. Display: 2 stars. DO NOT TRUST the ad images. They slapped a tablet on top of the display, and that's deceptive. The real display is a cheap wrist watch. Take a look at the 360° view. Questionably accurate pulse meter requires touching both front bars. Calories burned? Yeah right. Made up numbers. Fun to imagine I burn 30 cals in 5 minutes of pedaling. 3 button control about what I'd expect. Arm bands: 2 stars. Probably 3 lbs of resistance. No tension control. Folding: 3 stars. It works, but you have to unscrew the pedal height knob and not lose it.
Assembly was ok. Pay attention the the numbers of each item when assembling the bike. Other than that it was fairly straightforward. It does not take up much room. I have it in my living room so I can cycle while watching TV. It is perfect for what I need.
So far I’ve only had the bike for 2 days so if anything changes I’ll update these details. The bike is solid and good quality which I was pleasantly surprised considering the price I was a little nervous of what I would receive. The directions to put it together were easy to understand. The bike reads your pulse, speed, distance, and has a timer which if you take a break it automatically shuts off and then begins where you left off again until you reset it. The pull handles are a nice addition. Also it has resistance levels to choose from it goes up to 8 I’ve been keeping it at 5 which is enough resistance to give me a good workout. You can adjust seat height. So far so good I am very happy as of right now and I searched thru tons of reviews to find a low price high quality bike so figure I’d leave a review to help someone else decide. This is definitely worth the price.
Easy to assemble. It arrived the next day I ordered it. Looks and feel sturdy. Have not fully used it yet but I’m happy I’ll be able to start exercising again.
Love this bike. Fairly easy to assemble. Need to go slow and follow instructions/picture. Very quiet, nice seat and height adjustments. Folds up so it can be moved easily and takes up less space. Would definitely recommend for beginners and elders.
Oh I consider this one of my great purchases forty now working out 49 mins a day moving it up to more but I am very happy. It was very easy to put together. I also like the price.
The bike itself works great. My concern is the care of the product when being manufactured. The faceplate was broken, and shoved in the box anyway (no way could have been a shipping issue, packed too well. ) There is several chips and dents to the bike as well. These are all cosmetic problems..as everything works as it should. also the instructions are a little confusing as far as the hardware that is sent goes.
The bike is good but when I got it out of the box, I found a small cut in the seat. Also, I don’t think it’s suitable for elderly people or others with knee problems because it’s not easy to get on and off the bike.
Very quiet and comfortable to ride but not very easy to get on and off.I have a chair to hang on and a 5 inch step on the other side.be careful putting your leg between the seat and front not much room
When I open the bike on Christmas Eve to put it together for my daughter, the bike was disgusting. It had a lot of weird slimy stuff on it and it was a used bike. It took me about 2 1/2 hours to clean everything off of the bike so after we tried putting it together, we noticed that the left pedal Was stuck. The screw was stopped. You could not take it off and it was some blue stuff slimy stuff in it. We contacted Walmart and they told us to throw it away. They reimbursed us after speaking to them three days in a row. They said to get rid of it and you will receive a new Bike plus we had to send them pictures along with a video showing them everything after they told us to throw it away, which was on the 26th. We realize no one ever contacted us about the new bike which was supposed to be returned to us by the 28th thank goodness the trash people had not picked up the trash so we were able to get the bike from outside with the trash and bring it back in so that we can try to get this pedal on but again unsuccessful contacting several rude customer service well it was ordered from marketplace you can’t expect for the things to come back correctly and you can’t expect for them to give you a new bike, which I understood that it’s just the fact that that bike was for my daughter. It was a Christmas gift for her. Either way I’ve sent them the photos twice, so I do not recommend ordering this bike because your heart will be broken. I don’t know what that stuff was that I was cleaning off of it. It had a terrible odor and the bike was supposed to be new and not used! Plus, I sent them a video showing everything but they don’t care whether the customer gets help but I am filing a complaint and reaching out to the Better Business Bureau because I don’t want anyone else to go through what I went through with Walmart, Customer Service, and with whom this person was from the marketplace. Now we’re sitting here with an exercise bike without a pedal that does not work. I was trying to send a video, but I’m unable to send the video. It’s only letting me send the photo and if I could’ve read this as a zero I would have but there’s no zero ratings, but they deserve a zero
