Not all B12 is the same. Most Over the Counter R a waste of $$$$. Only B12 Methylcobalamin is the type you should get. 1 small pill, chewed and placed under you tongue is absorbed into your blood system ASAP. Easy to use, small and efficient . I keep it in the kitchen to remind me to take my daily dose each day. As always, Swanson saves me time and $$$$

Natural Factors Methylcabalamine B12 used to be great. It was bright red, and really boosted my energy and cognition. Lately every bottle I get are a very light pink and dried out, making them very difficult to use sublingually. They also taste extremely dry and powdery. Only by adding water will the pill look red. They also will not boost my cognition or energy in the least. It's almost as if they are just trying to empty warehouses of *years* old product. The vitamin has less of an effect after time. I have a two year old bottle with about ten tablets. It faded some over the years, but they still are much redder the these MB12's. Apparently it has to be used within 3 years for best results. I don't even know if it is Walmarts' error. The last couple of bottles I got from Amazon, were awful also. I'll be looking for a new seller. The bike lock is closer in color.
