Near East Couscous Mix Parmesan, 5.9 oz Box

I had the real thing in Morocco and this isn't like what you get there but then again, they make it with veggies so not likely to get it with the cheese flavor. This is easy to fix and a great alternative to rice or pasta. This one does taste good. I add a can of peas and carrots and instead of water, I use the juice from the canned veggies to make it, it soaks up the flavor and good.

I have had to switch to a low fodmap diet due to digestive issues. I find this is very easy on my stomach and it tastes great. There are other ‘ancient grains' around but they taste like cardboard. I like to keep a box in hand as an addition to any meal that I need a carb with.

When I am preparing dinner, I often ask my husband what he wants for a carb side-Potatoes, rice or couscous? Most of the time he answers couscous and he especially likes the Near East parmesan, though when making lamb, I generally make the Near East roasted garlic and olive oil. It is a light side and can be prepared in no time, especially if you preheat the water in an electric kettle. That little box goes a long way, too. I often use just 1/3 or 1/2 of the box combined with peas or mixed vegetables for the two of us, thus getting 2, sometimes even 3 meals out of a box. It is perfectly seasoned and takes so little time to make that it is well-suited if you are pressed for time.

I use this instead of rice sometimes The flavor and consistency is really good I've heard it is healthier than rice as well

it's delicious and takes all of them out 8 minutes to make. Just boil water, then wait 5 minutes after you pour the couscous in. I probably eat it three times a week

I just finished eating this as part of my lunch, and it was delicious, as it always is! This is an excellent complement to any meal, I highly endorse it.
