It may take a couple times but works!!!

Sleeper June 15, 2020

Have purchased so many types of this for someone else and nothing seemed to work. He did one application at night and said it was a 'little' better. Did another one in the morning and he said it was the same. So, later that afternoon, he did it again and just said 'wow'. I said is that a good or a bad wow? He said good!! Nice to know there's something out there that works!

Decent product.

Ear drops soften and loosen. Warm/hot water further loosens wax. Good product.

Failure of NeilMedKyrosol -- and Company's Silence

johnb June 20, 2022

On June 10, 2022, then again on June 17, I directly emailed NeilMed CEO Ketan Mehta, detailing not only the failure of his product, but that its failure necessitated a medical visit and corresponding expenses. I asked his company to reimburse me. I have received NO response from Mehta or any company rep. Here are the details: On two occasions in April of 2022, I woke up with ears plugged, which unplugged within minutes. Believing correctly that wax was the cause, and seeking to prevent future blockages, I ordered and received in May the earwax removal product, NeilMed Kyrosol. On May 15, following the exact directions, I applied 12 ear drops to one ear at a time, tilted my head for 20 minutes, then extracted warm water to rinse the ears with the provided syringe. Then, per the instructions, I repeated the process a second time that day, about 11 hours later. Amazingly, after I rinsed my ears the second time, both ears became plugged and stayed plugged for hours. Then, fearing that the blockage wouldn't clear, and unable to hear while attempting to work, I administered more of the drops per the directions, one ear at a time, waited for a half hour, then rinsed again...and again. My ears continued to be plugged for three days, until May 18, when Dr. Victor Stuart Cox, at Midwest Ear Nose and Throat in Eagan, Mn., cleaned the wax out of both ears. FINALLY, I could hear, after three horrible days when I couldn't work or function as normal. Notably, my ears were NOT plugged at the moment I started using Kyrosol on May 15 -- I had sought merely to use the drops to prevent wax build-up that could cause problems in the future. Only after I used the product, on the second rotation of the day, exactly as instructed, did my ears become clogged and they stayed that way for days, until I received medical treatment. In summary: - Neither of my ears was blocked when I first used Kyrosol on May 15. - My ears were blocked immediately after administering the ear drops in accordance with the instructions. - Despite applying more ear drops over the next two days, complying with the instructions, my ears remained blocked until May 18, when Dr. Cox cleaned out the wax to unplug my ears. (By contrast, the wax plugs I experienced in April, on only one ear, cleared on their own within minutes.) The evidence is clear that the ear drops directly caused the blockages in my ears, which created severe discomfort that prevented me from working my job, and required medical treatment.
