NETGEAR AC1200 Wi-Fi Range Extender, Essentials Edition

I've been through quite a few extenders that never worked, and I finally decided to match the brand with my router and now all devices seamlessly connect with absolutely zero issues or lag! A product! It doesn't take up much space at all and has a very user friendly button interface.

I had weak signals in the back of my house from the router. I didn't want to run another wire and try to relocate the router. I purchased this unit and followed the instructions. After the unit found the router I moved the unit as instructed to a half way point between the router and the weak spots and plugged it in to the outlet. Waited a few minutes and now I have very good signal throughout the house with no buffering at all. Very good product.

The Netgear Wifi Extender was a breeze to set up. I now have strong signals all over our home and in the outside areas. It linked to my router by using the WPS. Easy direction. Connected within minutes. We have four security cameras that are enabled by Wifi. They all have a strong signal. Highly recommend! I don't know why I waited so long.

Used this to pickup my wifi and convert to lan wire for a dvr ,so I didn't have to run wire through the attic, going on a few weeks, so far so good, great product!

I purchased this model to replace an EX6100 that was 12-13 years old. The EX6120 was a bit smaller and very easy to set up. In no time, it was connected to my WiFi and I was able to connect other devices to the extender.

It's great because I have a 4 bedroom house and now I have wifi that doesn't cut out in the back rooms.

Initially, I had difficulty setting up the extender. However a quick call to Netgear resolved the issue.

this is my 2nd system. 1st one had died on me. this one occasionally has the device light show red. I have to restart it to make it work again. I wish I knew why it does it. When I emailed the company on my last one they said it was probably a product malfunction. I hope it doesn't happen with this one again. other than that it works fine.

Better to spend a little more money and purchase as AP router or mesh.

Spend more money to get a better device. Mine drops connectivity to the router. The router doesn't support wps so could not connect that way, also had difficulty manually setting it up. Not much support provided by Netgear. I think this is an outdated product they continue to sell.
