Better to go with alternative to Net Gear. First brand I ever came across that I could not setup for home use. Product descriptions over internet says that it can be used as an accesspoint. If using Hawaiian tel fioptics with provided equipment (eero) it is impossible to use as an accesspoint. After 4 hours of trying to connect to existing wireless network I gave up endless searching over internet and attempts to follow troubleshooting issues with the router nothing worked. Once set to AP mode, the main router should pick up the Netgear router but it does not. It simply does not work. With asus routers in my experience, setup is done within 10 minutes or less when common sense is used. With Netgear internet help doesn' t even work. Netgear products is extremely poor in development.
We've only had this router for about three days, but so far it's been working well. The setup was straightforward, and the connection has been steady with good speed throughout the house. This is actually the first time we've ever had to purchase our own router, so we don't have much to compare it to, but the experience has been positive so far. I'll update if anything changes with more time, but at this point we're satisfied with the performance.
I'm not tech savvy so I had to call support. They helped out with setting up and stayed with me until it was working. Make sure you register it first.
this was much easier to set up than i thought it was going to be. it supports all of our devices and the speed is actually pretty good considering how many devices are connected
I like the look of the product. It takes up less room than my old router. It has good speed for my devices. It works well so far for my needs. Highly recommend this router.
If you need a coax connection for cable service this won't work, this is for the newer kind of connection which I don't have.
This router boosted my speed to download of 813 upload of 814 and ping at 2 that's amazing! Super easy and the app is chefs kiss
easy to install works great.
Very easy to set up using your phone. It tells you step by step what to do next
Price was good. Easy set up.
