I've always wanted a griddle as an extra big accessory to my to my grill. I got an early Father's day gift. Love it ! Now it said to season it after first use . The video I found said do it 3 times. I did it 4. Made some burgers with mushrooms and fried onions it. They were great !
With the aim to have more outdoor cooking space - the nexgrill had good reviews online and so far has delivered. High surface temp 600-700 degrees in hottest spots and 400+ in the far corners is impressive. I did take my time to season the surface and strongly recommend a good thorough cleaning to remove the packing oil - it's not food grade and it is stubborn. Use Dawn blue and don't be afraid to use water to rinse thoroughly. After that - the seasoning was great. 5-6 coats of avocado oil and burn off and surface is slick and ready.
Being information of Bob word asked for the model number.Ours was not in there.Ours is 720- 1066 We chose one close to that number and we have not found desser number yet either several going to look on the actual grill and see if it's there. This was a sidewalk sale , so it did not come in a box either
Assembly was relatively simple with understandable instructions. Seasoned the griddle which was also easy. Will be cooking on it soon. Solid unit. We will see how it holds up to the elements and use!
It was a little damage (bent) where you don't see it. but husband was able to fix it.
Grill looks sturdy and great I had one issue of a part being broken and would like it replaced I will attach pictures.
never owned a outdoor griddle before,.or even heard of this name products. I love the look and was somewhat easy to put together using the owner's guide. hope it performs according to your write ups. Only concern was the the description of the cover that did not fit my model #720-1058, which was 64 in cover. I needed to go to the nearest store to get a larger one.
Fantastic grill, you can cook so much food so fast! The only downsisde is that the instructions I received in the packaging were for an older model. I received some washers and screws I never ended up using. However everything is working fine. Also assembly was pretty much the exact same thing as the older model minus the washers and screws.
The griddle is nice overall. It was easy to put together, and seems sturdy. The negative I have, which could become even more of an issue the more I use it is that the flat top griddle isn't flat, but is higher in the center, so everything either rolls to the front or the back.
Mine has a slightly rounded or bowed top. I seasoned it and noticed all the oil going to the back even with the unit being level. Not sure if that is normal or not. Also my burners are way hotter in the front than the back. Not sure why that is the case.
