replacing a similar ninja coffee maker that finally died after 6 years--very easy to fill with water and also the swing out container for grounds is super easy--like that you set the size coffee you want and it pumps that much, no need to fret about how much water to put in the receptacle and, once you find your chosen coffee strength, you will always get the same strength--caveat is that it has a manual stop if you want to interrupt mid brewing for a cup
I had an older version of this coffee pot that we literally worked to death. Bought this one as a replacement because we were do impressed with it’s predecessor. The only difference is this one does not have the built in frother but the next model up with the frother was alomst a hundred dollars more and not worth it for just the frother. This makes a very nice cup of hot coffee fairly quickly snd has different settings for iced, hot, rich , full pot etc, and different sizes down to a single cup. We originally tried the first pot because we were ditching the expensive plastic pods. This uses so much less coffee and we believe tastes better than the pods. I did use the frother on the old pod quite a bit for many drinks but a 15 dollar frothing stick works almost as well. We like this coffee maker, it uses so much less coffee that you that will save the cost in pods alone. Recommend it, we are very satisfied. We use a metal cone filter bought separately . You need to order it specifically for this model( i had an extra from the previous one which luckily fit) . You literally use like half of the coffee with this pot, definitely a savings.
I wanted to get away from using k cups but still wanted a quick and tasty cup of coffee. This coffee maker does just that and more! Very convenient and versatile! I haven’t tried the cold brew yet but will in the very near future. I have always liked Ninja Products and this one did not disappoint!
I just got this today and have only made one cup of coffee but so far I am loving it! I wanted it mainly for the cold brew function but also wanted the option of hot coffee as well so cold brew was the first one I tried. I had been making my own cold brew but it took 24 hours and a TON of grounds and was gone too fast. the cold brew was delicious, used the same amount of grounds as a regular cup and took less than 10 minutes. very easy to use and I love that it comes with its own measuring spoon with totals written directly on the spoon and I am glad I can make anywhere from one regular cup up to a whole 10 cup carafe. only "negative" is that it doesn't come with a reusable filter but that isn't a big deal as i can get one for pretty cheap.
Bought for my mom cause I got one a few months back and this is what she texted me the morning she tried it: “Wow! What a great cup of coffee this morning! I can't believe how much better it is than the keurig!! Very smooth, strong (I used the rich setting) and more flavor than I ever got with the other one. Thanks so much for recommending this brand. I'd never have considered it without your advice!“
Replaced a Keurig dual coffee maker that I had for a number of years. The pot feature is easy to use and like the v shaped filter better than round. (Better flavor and easier cleanup). Also the Ninja spreads water over the top of coffee resulting in a richer pot. I was a little nervous about the single cup feature. I like Keurig pods but wanted to move away from them from a waste standpoint. The single cup feature works just fine and the coffee is every bit as good. Comes with a dual scoop with easy measuring directions. Very pleased.
Love that I can brew a whole carafe or just a cup! Cold brew option is fantastic for less acidic coffee and refreshing in the summer. Great alternative to a Keurig, no need to use all those plastic cups. Cost effective and can buy a reusable filter from Walmart that fits the machine.
We've really enjoyed our ninja coffee machine. I love that you can set it up at night to start in the morning. It also has a spoon that you can measure out the different amounts of coffee for the different settings. The coffee never tastes burnt. The only thing I wasn't expecting when I first used it is that you have to hit a button if you want to pour before it's done brewing to make the coffee stop dripping.
I love this coffee maker!!! The only complaint I have (and this is Walmart related, not product related so I didn't let it affect my rating), I ordered the stainless steel one and they sent me the all black one. I made my peace with it only because I needed a coffee maker and didn't want to have to wait for a new one.
This is my second Ninja coffee maker. This design isn’t as nice and not made as well as my first one. Don’t be deceived by the description that says a “rapid cold brew”. It does not make cold brew coffee. I was fooled by thinking maybe this was an updated feature, but it’s not a cold brew, it’s an “over ice” feature. All in all, it’s a great coffee maker, and I hope this one lasts as long as my other one did…a good 5 years.
