Orbit Brass Threaded 2 Male/1 Female Y-Hose Connector with Shut Offs

This product works extremely well. It is a heavyweight metal. It hooked to the faucet with no drips. The cutoff valves allow you use one or two hoses at once. With the valves in the off position, there is no dripping.

I have 2 washing machines so need to split the feed to each. I had a Y like this but it had plastic incorporated into the body of it and after a few years, it just broke off. I bought this solid brass one and hope it will work or a long time. I had to order a second one a week later as another of the older ones broke too. So far. . . so good.

This is made of Brass, do I need to say more? It works correctly and hooks up snug without any problems. Each outlet has its own shut off valves, so you can use One, or Both outlets.

I'll only purchase this type of shut-off because they're constructed with solid brass VS cheap plastic. I'll only recommend these for my customers. If I didn't need to add an extra purchase to get free delivery on another product, I'd have saved a little bit of $ & purchased this same product at the local Walmart, but extra cost was very minimal.

These are pretty solid, and I'm glad the shut-off levers are hard plastic because my old brass one had brass shut-off levers that were impossible to turn without pliers, once corrosion set in. With these, one good first turn and they're fine after that. I'd bought 4-connector Nelson valves with huge plastic shut-off levers which were fantastic-- but unfortunately my infatuation with them ended quickly when every one of them started to leak at the connectors. So, I've replaced them all with these Orbit brass models.

Good product but had to loosen screws that held the on/off switch because it couldn't be turned without using a wrench. Still hard to turn but hopefully with use it will loosen up.

If I have to use pliers to turn the water on and off, this is not a very good product.
