One advice if you're new to buying almonds for almond milk, 2 pounds doesn't seem like a lot but they balloon up a ton and you really only need 1 cup for 3-4 cups of water. I think after soaking I had around 10 cups or so of almonds and I had to frantically find recipes for the milk and pulp!

I purchased these after I had read about the possible cyanide in almonds. They arrived on time and the packaging was intact. I noticed that they were not as crunchy as the supermarket brands and possibly because they are organic, that might be why. They are organic.

Just a few almonds will satisfy any craving. These Italian almonds make a delicious almond milk. Use without any sweetener is delicious. I sometimes blend in either figs or dates, along with mesquite powder, and this just take you to a different sensation. Just make sure to soak them overnight. Delicious.

It is my understanding only true Organic Raw Almonds are European farmed. Only way to have California Organic Raw Almonds is to purchase off a roadside stand at the growers in California. It is quite comforting to have organic raw Italian Almonds. The packaging is gorgeous. Only outpoint is product takes a 'beating' in shipping (chips galore). That is not under venders control. Maybe better packing technique is warranted. I will be doing business with Food To Live in future. Maybe will have to pay for better shipping packing.

The quality of the product is "SECOND GRADE" -- I have been eating "almonds" my whole life and these ones don't blend and easily liquefy, while I make my juice and/or smoothies. REGARDLESS, I WILL RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY EVEN FOR ITS SERVICE -- I RECEIVED THE "SHIPMENT" WITHIN TWO BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PLACING THE ORDER. "GOOD LUCK" & "STAY SAFE" OUT THERE AND ALWAYS THINK POSITIVE, EVEN DURING THESE "TRYING TIMES".

I had no idea I was getting such a small quantity :( I am very disappointed. Maybe I should have known, but it just never dawned on me how over price this place would be since the recommendation came from someone with supposedly much less income than me. How on earth can anyone justify $20 something dollars for a tiny 1lb bag of almonds!? This was my first purchase and will likely be my last.

I wanted to love these for the price, not being pasteurized and ease of purchase. I bought a LOT and split them with friends. Some were good. Unfortunately, I ran into a bag that had so many bitter almonds that I found myself spitting them out when snacking. I read that the bitter ones have cyanide in them :( FTL gave me a 15% refund on them.

I have purchased through this company many times in the past, I may be ordering from a different company from now on. I purchased a bag of organic Italian almonds and it has an expiration date of 6/2021! They have spoiled I am diligent about how I store my almonds and this is just nit something that should happen with 11 months left till they expire. I am very disappointed
