Ortho Weed B Gon Plus Crabgrass Control Concentrate2

I've been using ortho weed b gon max plus crabgrass control for several years now and love it. I use it 1-2 times a year on my whole lawn using the ortho dial and spray hose end attachment. I use it in a tank sprayer for in between spot control. This stuff is amazingly effective on crabgrass, plantain, creeping Charlie, clover and dandelions which all creep into my yard from my neighbor's unkempt lawn. It's important to follow the mfg directions and know what kind of grasses you have in lawn before using this or it can damage your lawn as stated in the directions. I have cold season grasses in Western Wisconsin and I couldn't be happier with the results I get from this product.

Well, i like it better than round up, but you have to be careful. Mix correctly and you CAN use your own spray bottle if you mix it first in a gallon jug and then pour it in a smaller sprayer. It took about two days and the weeds died, and went to seed rather quickly. Maybe it would have worked better with a larger spray container but I did walk weed to weed and spray it directly on them. They did die. And my lawn looks much much better. I anticipate that they will continue dying for a bit into the future. We had tons of rain a day or so after i put this on the lawn, and I mean A LOT for like two days. Still there are very few that have come back, so I have to say it seems to work even with rain. I would personally recommend using a face mask when spraying, a disposable one. I didn't and thought i could keep the drift away by being careful, but i woke up the next day with a residual taste in my mouth from not covering up better. So, even if you are careful it is best to take precaution. All in all I gave t his five stars because it did work fairly well although it wasn't immediate but slow acting, and lasted through days of rain. My lawn looks much better and next time maybe i will get a larger sprayer as referred to by Weed B Gon. That will cover more ground and weeds I don't even are in the yard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am impressed. This stuff knocked down weeds and crabgrass in my driveway as well as my yard without hurting my lawn. I noticed it working after a day. In three days there was no doubt this stuff was large and in charge. Just add it to a sprayer, shake it up and spray away. Simple, fast and kicks weeds outa here.

It's a great lawn product been using it for years. The only thing I didn't like was it was leaking out when I got it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Weed-be-gon works pretty well on most of my weeds, Dandelions are the easiest to kill with almost immediate response to the spot treatment. The toughest one that I am having a hard time controlling is Oxalis yellow weed. Although this plant has a beautiful yellow flower, it is trying to take over the yard crowding out grass. Weed-be-gon definitely halts it in its tracks, but even after a second application I can still see some signs of life, I may need a product specifically designed for this weed. Weed-be-gon is easy to mix, about 2 ounces with a gallon of water in a sprayer. The only confusing issue was how to first open the bottle. The directions indicate to squeeze the sides of the ring and twist, but I was squeezing and trying to turn the complete green portion lid and it would not budge, so you only need to twist off the orange lid whiling squeezing the green ring. duh.

I live next door to someone that does not take care of her lawn whatsoever. It can be very discouraging trying to take care of our lawn when all you see next to your boarder is foot tall dandelions. But thanks to Ortho Weed B Gone I can kill her weeds as fast as they germinate in our yard. I use a full lawn sprayer and also a tank spot sprayer. Thanks for a Great product to help eliminate the weeds.

This item was improperly packaged for shipping. The plastic bottle arrived leaking, and the plastic shipping envelope was soaked with liquid. The packaging appeared to have been wrapped multiple times. The item needs to be replaced and shipped in a box to minimize damage. See Pictures below.

I used this product as directed and my lawn is TOTALLY DESTROYED. My gardener use to pick the crabgrass with his hands. Now, I wish I never TRUSTED this product or company. I expect an immediate response from this million dollar organization! Consumers BEWARE...

This product contains 2,4 D, same as Agent Orange. It is directly linked to Canine Lymphoma. Its use on our lawn killed our beloved dog Owen. Do not use this biocide and known carcinogen on any place your pets occupy!
