Oster Animal Care Comb & Protect Flea Comb for Cats

This flea comb I buy all the time. They do not break or bend easy; the only reason I have bought other flea combs like this is because I lose them and have to buy another one. I like combing my cats with this comb; they seem to like it better than the brushes and other combs. Although this is a flea comb I use it on my cats daily for their grooming which they love.

This comb is great for looking for fleas on my cats. and telling me they do not have them. It also is great for combing cats tails and making them fluffy.

This metal flea comb works much better than the plastic, flexible comb I last purchased. Fleas can escape from the flexible combs but not this metal one. I simply dipped the metal comb in soapy water and the fleas died. This especially works great after giving the kitty a flea bath. It is hard to remove dead fleas in the hair but not with this comb. This is a replacement and I know it does an excellent job on my cats. I had to order this item on line as, although there is spot in pet care for this comb, there was never any available there for sale. It took 10 days to arrive at my store..........eventually.

This fine tooth comb is the easiest way to determine if your cat has fleas. It also helps clean the fur of flea eggs. Watch out for the live ones, they are great hoppers!

This comb works great! It gets out the fleas which I dip in soapy water to kill, and lots of debris off my cat. Plus the cat loves to have me comb him with this!! Highly recommend.

I was a Vet. Tech. at one time and used something similar to this. It's a great way to get to those little boogers...FLEAS, but only really works on Domestic Short hair cats. It won't do my Maine Coon due to her under coat. I would recommend this to be done outside if live FLEAS r present!

Gets larger fleas no problem, but the smaller ones slide through the cracks and back into the fur quickly. I did my research before buying one so I knew this was an issue with flea brushes (that's why I gave it four stars, but it still met expectations). However, this is a healthy, cheap, and natural approach to flea control on cats. After seeing that many "OTC" flea medications contain neurotoxins that can kill your pets, I decided to get this instead. In order to use this you really have to have a cat that is willing to work with you. My cat loves it and starts purring whenever I pick up the brush now. It really depends on how social your cat is, I guess.

It's better than their plastic one (which is absolutely useless, don't waste your money), it gets some fleas but not many. They had a green one I always used to buy that worked great but they don't have it anymore. Bring it back!
