This thermometer has helped me out so many times! It reads temps quickly & stays consistent. The pointed tip makes it easy to insert into any kind of meat & is easy to wipe clean. The flat screen makes it easy to store with the rest of my cooking utensils

The OXO chefs, digital instant rate the thermometer is wonderful! It is always accurate and the battery life is very long. It is so easy to clean and is inexpensive.

The swivel head works great for those times when you need to take the temp of something at an angle. The USDA and chef temperature recommendations are also super helpful. The fine almost needle-like point makes insertion a breeze and makes for a smaller puncture area which helps prevent excessive leaking of juices. If you're tired of analog thermometers that take forever to give you the temperature, this is for you.

One grip is getting the probe in the right position was a little off for me. It took a few tries before I was able to trust the internal temperature reading.

It does not work. I imagine the battery is dead. I would like to return it.
