good deal
I broke my last one with the Lucite handle. I needed one that could put up with my pounding. This one does a beautiful job, lightweight so my hand doesn't tire with large amounts of meat, and I don't worry about breakage. Worth it's weight in gold for those of us who have had to pay for teeth, also....LOL

I USE IT OFTEN
I'm familiar with the OXO brand, so I chose this one. It works great . I like the rubberized handle and it's not too heavy. Since I'm developing arthritis in my hands, I wouldn't want it any heavier, though. Price was right for the quality.

Oxo rocks!
Oxo makes great products and this is no exception. Very solid and heavy. Comfortable to hold too. I have very little upper body strength but this thing helped me flatten out some chicken breasts in no time flat. Also threw it in the dishwasher and it came out looking fabulous. Love Oxo!

Good weight
I haven't used it yet. It has a good weight to it. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it doesn't say if it's dishwasher safe or not.
