My item came used the lid was taken off and stuck down in it the cord had been in raveled and used and there was no warranty or directions (which I didn't need the direction to be honest) but it was late in shipping from NY TO VA. So idk who used it but it had greasy finger prints inside the top so I wasn't happy about that but overall the product is worth the savings
Like how cold it keeps the contents. I tested it out by letting it run for 12 hours then I put some beverages inside that were already cooled from being in the fridge. I let the beverages stay inside the ozark trail electric cooler for over 6 hours and then drank one and the temperature was nice and cold.
the item (lid) arrived broken, the unit does not get cold enough to make a two hr trip with frozen good in there. the only plus thing is I got my money back and got to keep something that doesn't work. I wish the company would of sent me a good one so I could give a better review. it is what it is!
1st. the box was opened and the the cooler looks used and has tape over a hole. inside is an ozark 25$ ice chest WHEN i paid 70$ to get an ozark Electric 12 volt car refrigerater. this truly was a dirty trick to play on someone Shame on You for trying. i would like the replacement 12v i paid for
This is an Ozark Trail product and my review is based on Walmart cancelling a portion of an order of other Ozark Trail products that I partially paid for with Walmart Credit from writting a review ($5). When Walmart cancelled the delivery they cancelled the credit I recieved totalling $3.98. I feel cheated and that is it.
I've purchased two of these from walmart. They have both arrived broken in some way. One of them the plug-in was messed up and the other one had the plastic around the top busted all up and appeared to be used. The concept is great but this brand seems to be cheaply made.
I bought this for a road trip hoping to keep drinks cold via the 12V cigarette lighter, but it was a total disappointment. Instead of cooling, it barely managed to keep the internal temperature just a few degrees below the cabin air. Worse yet, the fan on the back puts off a steady stream of heat. Over a few hours of driving, it actually noticeably raised the temperature inside my car, making the AC work harder. If you're looking for something to actually chill a warm soda, keep looking. This only works if your items are already ice-cold, and even then, it's a struggle.
The lid was just put inside the cooler. The cord was not wrapped like it was from the factory. I think that this was a returned item hastily put in a box and taped haphazardly. I will be returning this item.
Does not work!!! Had this plugged in all day and it never got cold. No wonder why it was on clearance. It also shipped in a box with the lid of the cooler separated and inside the cooler. The picture also doesn't fully match the item you receive.
I just bought this in June and it plugged it in today…less than six months from when I bought it…and it sparked and is not working. Called Walmart and they refused to do anything stating the return window closed.
