This brand of oysters has a really great quality. In the last container I got I had some really huge ones and two small ones, but I liked it. I mean it was perfect. They’re fresh. Have a nice brownie flavor and are perfect in stews and fried or in a poor boy sandwich when I see them I always make sure I get some. I keep one container in the freezer. They thaw well..

these are tasty. i like them raw on saltines with cocktail sauce. almost as good as oysters on the half shell %26 certainly much easier to eat! no shucking!

Super fresh! Called my mom and told her they tasted like they were just shucked! Would definitely buy again. Made oysters Rockefeller and shot a couple down the hatch with lemon and horseradish. Delish!!! Fraction of the price for you'd pay at a fine dining establishment.

The oysters are large. They are stuffed into the container(about a dozen). with a little water to top it off. So be careful when you remove the foil top seal not to get wet. The oysters have a strong calcium taste but leave no sandy grit in your mouth from the shells. Cocktail sauce is a must buy for me.

Why such low reviews? These were AMAZING! I was skeptical based on reviews, but I gave it a shot anyway.... GLAD I DID! These oysters were nice and large, delicious! Just like the Willow Point's you get from the Pub chain store, but the price made it even more worth it! My oyster dressing was a hit! Do not hesitate to get these! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Today is April 2nd. The "sell by" date on these oysters is 3/30/2026. That was 3 days ago. I would never have chosen this jar of oysters simply because the "sell by" date was 3 days ago. Seafood in general, and especially seafood such as oysters, are very prone to sickness if eaten past freshness dates. These oysters, sadly are in the trash. It is NOT WORTH GETTING SICK over this jar of oysters. I hate throwing them away....what a waste....so I got online first to do some reading on how long oysters stay fresh past the dates. What I read was concerning. I'm not going to risk getting sick. Please train your shoppers to check "use by and sell by" dates.

Didn’t get to taste. By the time (about 45 minutes from picking it up at the store to my kitchen) I was ready to use it, container was very bloated. I transported it in an insulated bag. Bought a few times. Result always the same - not safe to use, and ends up in my garbage. It is always to be used on that date, but it gets bloated before reaching home. Almost expired - always.

top of pkg seal was broken need to return to.wallmart never got to try product since.seal was.broken

Well I wanted smoked oysters and these are raw oysters. I got these as a substitute for the smoked oysters I ordered. They were not picked by me. Lost 12.00

The description says X-small. These oysters are huge! Way too big and not at all small or x-small. Correct the label/description to be accurate. I got them because I wanted small.
