Pen+Gear 12" x 100' Bubble Cushion Roll with 3/16" Small Bubbles for Packing and Shipping

This bubblewrap serves its PURPOSE well (for me). The only negative flaw that I have for THIS BRAND bubblewrap (with all of the varied sizes I have bought to date) is that the perforated divisions DO NOT tear at all !! --- I have to use scissors !! 👎 ... so ... why do I continue to buy this brand ?? 🤔 ... because its cost is affordable.

I ship small but breakable items and I use this wrap every time, the bubbles are high quality, I've never had a problem with this bubble wrap! It's easy to use and has tear offs ever so often but u really have to rip it hard to tear so that's a big plus that I can use it in 3' sections or one section as long as I want!! I will continue to use this brand! Highly recommended. Wish it came in one bigger size but I'll keep buying more as needed.

I ship a lot of fragile vintage items, so packaging isn't something I take lightly. I use this large bubble wrap as a final outer layer over smaller bubble wrap, and I've found that even very delicate pieces ship noticeably better with that one extra layer of protection. It adds just enough cushioning without overdoing it. You don't need to use a ton of it either, one layer over your base wrap has been optimal in my experience. The 12" width is ideal for most items I ship, and the 2-pack lasts me about a month or a little longer with regular use, which makes it very practical. On top of that, the price is hard to beat for what you get. If you're shipping anything fragile, especially vintage pieces, this is a solid, reliable addition to your packing setup.

It was very easy to use this bubble wrap. I was shipping a doll with a glass body and it protected the doll so that it arrived perfectly. There was plenty left over for my next project.

I use large bubble wrap in the winter for insulation on the windows. With the large bubbles against the window, attach the edges around the window with a clear, lightweight packing tape from Walmart. It does a good job of keeping the cold air out and helps to lower the heating costs. Check the internet for quality instruction on the application.

I ordered this to wrap our turtle's tank (48x24x24), our anole enclosure (18x18x24), our little 2.8 gallon tank of bladder snails, and our pet cricket enclosure (10 gallon aquarium). I also lined all our windows before hanging up plastic drop cloth or vinyl shower curtains. This is to insulate things in case of a power outage, or in the case of our windows, to stop all our heat from flowing right oit so I could save $50 on electricity. It works really well and I highly recommend it. It takes a bit to get it up, but once it is, it's very effective and it also cuts down noise.

It cushions pretty well if everything is wrapped in the right way. The bubble seem kind of flat but that's just the way they are I guess. If they were full when something was wrapped, they might burst. All in all okay for wrapping and cushioning.

I've moved to different states and cities four times in the past six years and have therefore purchased many rolls of the advertised 3/I6" bubble wrap, which has always proven to give that added layer of protection to wrapped fragile items being moved/transported to my new residences. Contrary, this particular Pen %26 Gear brand of 3/16" bubble wrap proved inferior and sub-standard; whereby, I actually had to rub my fingers across both sides of the product to decide, which side had somewhat raised bubbles that I would better describe as little tiny and barely raised pimple like bubbles. When I commenced to wrap some fragile items in it, I used twice the amount and still felt uncomfortable that it provided any added layer of protection. Hence, I stopped using it. That said, I've purchased numerous other Penn %26 Gear products to include moving boxes and have always been satsified with their products over-all quality and/or performance. When I called Walmart to communicate my dissatifaction with this particular "bought and sold by Walmart" product, their customer service employee applogized for the disappointing experience and resolved the matter satisfactorily, which I appreciate...... Not as soft as the competitor's brand. About the same price. The bubbles are stiff and not that full of cushioning air. The plastic is rough and not soft. We cannot find any perforations as described on the website. The competitor's brand we used prior had distinctive perforation lines so was easier. We only needed one roll so we ordered thinking it would be the same quality, the competitor's came in a 2 pack so trying to not waste while packing up the house.
