Pennington Feeding Frenzy Cardinal and Songbird, Wild Bird Food Blend, 5 lb

I received my order and was very pleased with the.seeds. I usually order another brand of seeds from a local store, I’ve been using the same brand of seedsi for years and the Pennington seeds attract more birds than ever.The quality is superb. The Pennington seeds are priced much lower than my previous seeds,, which is a plus considering I buy about 60 lbs seeds in a week. I hope my review helps other birdwatchers looking for a great quality and price.

Im not sure what the reviews saying there is too much filler are talking about. This blend has hardly any filler at all. Its a good mixture of black oil sunflower seeds, raisins and suet nuggets. My backyard birds love it. The first time i purchased it there was barely any suet nuggets. Pennington customer service was very helpful and even sent me a refund check in the mail. I havent had any issues since. I will continue to purchase this for my year round birds.

I really didn't want to grade it, because I didn't eat it. I have a lot of wild birds that I feed. I have a large area with different food stations. I'm in rural SC about 45 minutes north of the coast. Lots of birds. They only ate the sunflower seeds. The rest has been left untouched. I dumped it all, washed the trays and put in fresh. Still only ate the few sunflower seeds. Maybe not what the local birds want or it's the season. No idea since I'm not a bird.

I ordered this because I thought my woodpeckers would like the suet balls. There were NO suet balls or raisins in the bag. There was plenty of sunflower seed. If I'd wanted sunflower seed and millet I would have just ordered a bag of it for half the price of this.

THIS IS NOT THE SAME FOOD! I've been buying this food since it came out. Used to be loaded with sunflower. Nuggets. Peanuts. More expensive than your usual songbird blend but it was worth it. THIS IS NOT THE SAME. they changed the bag and now it's 80% millet filler. A few peanuts. It's junk. Haven't seen one suet nugget. And the price is the same. You get the same amount. Yet now it's all garbage. Horrible bait and switch. Will not buy again.

I disliked the fact that they changed the packaging and what was inside. This is not the same bird seed. The birds hate it The squirrels don't even like it. It's mostly filler those tiny little things. Nothing seeds that nobody eats plus you upped it a dollar. I absolutely would never, ever buy it again. It's crap

The frenzy birdseed has changed and my birds aren't eating it and it's being wasted. The birds used to eat everything that used to be in this mix but now that the mix has changed I'll no longer buy it.

Tried this for the first time a couple of months ago. Not a single raisin or suet nugget in the entire bag but it sure was filled with mostly sunflower seeds. Every time I refill the feeders, I have to dump out all the leftover sunflower seeds the birds didn't eat. Seems like those are being used as filler. I've just been waiting on this bag to finally be used up so I can order something different. Was really surprised because I've bought Pennington before in a blue bag and it was great. Not sure what happened to this particular mix but I hated it.

This was a substitution for a delivery order I had placed. It was not the item I wanted but I accepted it as a substitution, as I want my birds to have food, I have been asked to review the product. I have not opened it yet so really can't say much about it. A different product in the same line with a different mix was ordered previously and found to be very good.
