These Suet Cakes are amazing! Not only do the birds love them, but if/when chunks fall to the ground, my squirrels will run off with them! Once the birds know that they're there, they are usually gone within 24 hours! Definitely a hot commodity for the bird Community!!

If you want to see a flurry of activity at your feeders, this High Energy suet is the way to go. Within an hour of hanging it, I had multiple woodpeckers and chickadees lining up for a turn. It's clearly packed with the nutrients they need, especially during the colder months when they need that extra fuel.

I like that this one's a little different. It's high energy formula, which would be great if it helped during the winter where they need more energy to keep warm. Also, I was hoping maybe the hummingbirds would be interested as it's a bit sticky and they could possibly eat it as well.

Pennington feeding frenzy High Energy Suet cake is so easy to set up for the birds in my area. You can refrigerate to help remove more easily from the package. There is less mess with these suets and the birds absolutely love them. The ingredient list is also very small which is a definite plus!

I love that this suet is basically scent free so it doesn't allure other critters into my yard. If you don't put it jn the refrigerator, it's pretty icky to take out of the container. Since it broke apart easily, we put it on top of the bird seed in the feeder rather than in the suet feeder and the birds seem just as pleased. Glad to know these are sold at Walmart so I can repurchase!

This suet was not a favorite of the forest creatures. It was ok in a pinch when other food wasn't available. I don't like the sticky texture and neither do most of the birds. I prefer the no melt suet as it's much easier to handle, it breaks apart much easier and the birds seem to prefer it. Most of it was wasted due to non interested feeders. The Stellar Jays took it but they will eat almost anything.

The Pennington Feeding Frenzy High Energy suet cake was okay, but nothing special. It's definitely high-energy, but I didn't notice a big difference in bird activity compared with other standard suet cakes I've used. The texture was a bit softer than I expected, which made it messier in my feeder as it started to soften. Some birds ate it quickly, but it didn't seem to be a standout favorite. Overall, it's fine if you need extra calories out in cold weather, but it didn't wow me.

I like that rendered beef suet is the first ingredient in this suet cake. That does make it pretty messy to use, though. This one works best being refrigerated first. I wish there more seeds, nuts, and berries added instead of almost all grains, since that would be healthier for birds.
