Great pole
The BEST pole for an amazing price!! I have three of these. And can't say enough about them! The height is around five feet when in the ground about a foot deep. Assembly is easy (make sure you use a piece of wood when hammering pole into ground!) It is pretty sturdy but has a bit of a tendency to wobble! If the pole arms spin around, flip over the top section, that will solve your problems. Squirrels can jump up to the top even with a baffle, so be aware of that. Overall, it's a great pole!

good for the price
Works OK with two hanging feeders, but could be a little more sturdy, it does move some when the birds are feeding.

wobbly
the pole is in separate sections that fit together but do not secure together in any way, so that all the pieces rotate 360. This makes it wobbly and the bird feeders twirl from where you have them on each side toward the front/back, like 90 degrees.

See how long this in lasts
We will see if this one doesn't break in middle like the other ones did. I have had 5 break in middle so far. Not very sturdy.

The concept was good but it doesn't stay together. And the flange for adding the bird feeder on top was not in the box. They need to figure it better way of it going together

Probably the least sturdy metal pole in existence. Regardless of how straight you get it in the ground it still leans towards the heavier feeder because the individual pieces fit together so loosely. One fat squirrel and it's all over.

Junkyard Bird Feeder Pole!
I normally do not write reviews anymore cause Walmart. com doesn't print all your comment . I'm making exception this time. I agree with other reviewers on this Pennington Bird Feeder Pole it's wobbly. It took my husband several hours to drill and place screws in the pole to stabilize it. I would not recommend you to waste your money or time on this bird feeder pole. I wish now that I had carried this back to Walmart. I'll pay more attention to the reviewers comments!
