Perky-Pet 253 Wild Oriole Jelly Bird Feeder - 32 Ounce Feeder Capacity

The items are ordered are the best for feeding orioles. However, the packaging they came in was absolutely ridiculous. Wake up Walmart!!!! You are wasting money, our money on your packaging. You could lower prices if you didn't over pack these items. I could have fit a baby's highchair in the size of the box that these small items (2) (8" X 6") came in.

I've used this feeder for years and it is great. The latest model has switched from metal chains o plastic ones so I hope they hold up OK. The standard approximately 2 1/2 inch threads on the jar allows me to buy the 30 ounce plastic bottles of Welch's grape jelly and they will just screw on without having to transfer the jelly from one jar to the next.

very nice jelly feeder for orioles-sometimes the jelly gets stuck %26 you have to turn the dial on bottom to get it to fall but is nice that it holds a jar of jelly!

Love my jelly feeder! Even some woodpeckers come for a taste. It is important to know is to make a small hole in the bottom of the plastic bottle. Also, stir the jelly well before screwing into the base

I've gone through at least a half dozen of these having a pair up from May till the orioles leave. Contrary to what song birds are supposed to eat we get a big variety of visitors but mostly cat-birds and orioles. The dreaded squirrel makes the supplied plastic chain useless. Fortunately 13" replacement metal chains are cheap and available. We buy 32oz grape jelly by the case and a jar is the perfect fit. When orioles return in spring they land in tree next to house and chatter till the feeder is out. Five minutes later they are on the feeder. Some neighbors rarely see these birds but they nest in my trees. Squirrels ruin the vibe and will eat through the plastic if given the chance.

I have two of these oriole feeders, Even though the manufacturer description was the same the chain that holds up the feeder is now made of plastic and my older models of the same feeder have metal chains,

This came to me boxed without the hanging chain. If ALL the parts would have been sent with the feeder I would have kept it and tried it out and had more feedback. However without any way to hang it, it's going back to the store and I do not recommend this

One of the five that I bought had the chain missing when I contacted the company they told me I could return it, but all I wanted was a chain. They do not have any more in stock except some for $25 that look the same.

This used to be made with metal chains. Now it is made with cheesy lightweight plastic chains. Came out 1 windy morning after it was hanging for not even 1 week to find 1 of the chains broken. I contacted Perky Pet directly. They are sending me a new one but....

the 'chain' is plastic and broke as I was attaching it for the first time. I used a zip strip to try to make it functional.. didn't work. that broke, and it spent a brief time upside down hanging from two of the plastic 'chains.' total piece of junk. I have an older one that has a metal chain and worked fine. i replaced it because it's faded. I started a return..FedEx has yet to pick it up.
