Second Time a Charm!
First tube of Ultra Grey Silicon was partially cured ( old stock ? ). Got another and was perfect. Used for water pump/timing cover and oil pan with success. I am a retired automotive technician 30 years turning wrenches. I agree with Permatex to use the Ultra Grey not Ultra Black for the repair that I did on my own vehicle.

the strongest silicone made
i love Permatex RTV. anytime I need a sealant or binder that I know will hold strong I always look for this brand. After years in the auto mechanic business i have used this product thousands of times. Weather you are caulking a seam or reattaching a table Top.

Permatex Gasket Maker
Permatex makes a very good product that's been around for decades. They make a variety of sealants that cover just about everything automotive and beyond. Walmart continues to be a great facilitater of this and many other products at great prices.
