It worked fine for our little sparrow. Food and water can be changed easily. Cleaning is easy too. The sitting rods can not be positioned in such a way that the bird will not poop in the water or food cup. But overall lightweight, and has no issues in putting it all together.

I purchased this cage as a carrier for my green cheek conure and its absolutely amazing! Its small yet roomy and outstanding for the price. Its sturdy, well built and cute as well. Would buy again, 100% reccomend! :)

I bought this cage for a wounded wild bird to regrow its feathers and it left foot to (hopefully) heal. It died the day the cage arrived. I was having a difficult time with the components staying connected. I took a break...came inside and found little Birdy dead. Since it wasn't used I ( same day) tried to return it. Seeing that the refund would be less than $8 in US currency, I've decided, instead, to donate it to my dogs Vet [ they take in wounded birds]. My little Birdy is gone but a few more birds will have this cage along with all of the toys, net and the exercise / play nest to recover in. My inability to assemble the cage may be attributed to the carpul tunnel in my rt hand.

This is a decent cage. Smaller than I expected but makes a good cage if you need to separate a bird because it's sick. I would only recommend this cage for very small birds like finches. And only 2 would even fit in there.

So the cage is fine but a little too small for parakeets. If u wanna use this for ur one parakeet I recommend using one bar and put the hoop to the side. But the shipping took forever. It kept getting delayed but other than that I liked it but for me and the bird I have I think its too small. Its okay to have if ur introducing a new bird to other birds because ya know we shouldn't put a new bird in with the one u already have. Without letting it adjust to the bird u already have.

Poorly made, cage does not fit well into bottom pan. I bought it as a holding cage while I am cleaning the larger cages and that is all it's good for, barely

I bought 2 of these to temporarily house parakeets while I clean their large flight pens. I can't say it would even be good for that. Do not buy this as any long term [over an hour] home for any bird. It came with 2 cheap perches, only 2 out of the 4 needed end caps to secure them to the cage [and one was broken,] and there's no space for the unsecure swing. I ordered 2 other perches figuring the two that came with this would be trash. I was right and the other set of perches is no better. The perch that came with this cage would not be stable enough to support the feather of a bird. I wasn't expecting much for the price, considering my normal use flight cages are expensive, but gees. Could have been a hair better.

It doesn't have a bottom piece so your bird would basically be standing on its own poop if it went to the bottom to drink or eat. The bottom piece that comes out, also, is cheaply made that it is lopsided.

Not worth it. Piece of junk. The tabs to hook tray on the bottom are either broken or all different . Impossible to attach bottom. Too much trouble to return so will try to wire bottom on. A waste of $$
