In order for the lights to sync with sound and video, you must have a sync box and it doesn't come with the light strips.

Delivery was prompt and the product was brand new. Installation was easy. The viewing experience is now top notch, in addition to the other Hue products to make a whole room experience.

Now that this is compatible with an app on some Samsung and LG televisions, it is much more affordable. The set up was pretty straightforward. Once it was up and running, it really adds to experience of tv and movies. Highly recommend.

Works great and adds to watching experience.
Works just as advertised. Mounting is easier than regular light strips. It is a little tricky to mount if the back of your TV isn't flat uniformly. Fortunately the spot that gets thicker on my TV did so gradually enough the light strip could flex around it. A more drastic or sharp angle may cause an issue. As for viewing it is great when watching a movie or playing a game. Adds to the experience.

Great
I really like it. The colors are accurate. I didn't experience any delays. Can adjust the brightness and intensity. My gripe is that not only does it not wrap around the bottom of TV, the sides stop 8 inches from the bottom of the TV! This is very much a high end novelty item but if you have it to spend I'd recommend it.

Price Point
This thing is hands down in a league of its own. That being said, I'm giving it four stars because of price. I've only had it installed for a day but it feels and looks top quality. I still think that $219 is a crazy price for lights. Hopefully they last a long time for that amount.

Semi works!
The unit I received has a defect on the top left corner where the colors aren't all displaying correctly... unfortunately for me I don't want to ship it back to get sent a replacement weeks later and its only an issue with dark green so I'll live with it. I wish they did more QA testing
