Pic Ftrp Window Fly Trap, Paper, 4 Pack

I didn't have any problem getting it on the door window. Maybe that other person got an old one; it happens. I thought I was going to be smart and save a few bucks by trying packaging tape. Nope. I'll gladly spend the money and buy these from now on. All the zillions of those little pesky gnats are attracted to this and then can't get loose.

I have been using these for years. Once I learned how to place them and how to peel off the protective strips, I added them to windows and even in bathroom mirrors. I purchase these every spring and summer. Great for getting control of gnats. That was the main reason I bought them. Gnats seem to come out of nowhere. And I can never get rid of them. That was until I found these. A little tricky getting protective strips off. I cut mine in half to make two, out of one. First, find the red strip, peel it off. That side is what you stick to your window. Once you have it on the window then peel the protective shield that is facing you off and you're set. I recommend these to people that need fly control or gnat control. Truly works. My daughter has a lot of gnats, I told her about this product. Economical, odorless, transparent on windows.

effective, price consciense, easy to use

These work better than any other fly paper product I have ever used! I really like that they are clear and much more conspicuous than the strip of paper hanging from your ceiling. They are also very versatile. With the steips, you can only hang them from the ceiling. These you can stick anywhere! Right by the opening of your trash can, by the doors and windows, or even flat on the ceiling where they like to sleep!

Tried many things but this does work

I put these in a couple windows because flies kept sneaking in every time I opened the door. Boy do these work and they also catch the little gnats/fruit flies I get in the house in the summer from all the fruit in the house. No bugs now! Highly recommend and they are almost invisible on the window (until they catch bugs, lol). Wish I had found sooner.

We put up three window traps at the same time that we put up a traditional fly tape in another window. The fly tape caught three flies and the three window traps caught about 20 each. They are much more effective. However, contrary to what the instructions say, it seems as if they don't work as well after about one month; perhaps dust settles in them and they lose their stickiness.

it really did not stick well.

I received this item in its box, which apparently was exposed to some sort of oily substance that was soaked onto the box. I stuck it to the lid of a trash can, and it immediately came unattached. I know - it wasn't a glass window, but it shoulda worked for my purpose. I'm disappointed. I won't buy it again for this purpose. Maybe it works on windows. I don't know. My house isn't full of flies.
