PIC Portable Insect Killer Lantern, Solar Area Bug Zapper, Kills Flying Insects on Contact, Black

ive only had a few days so not sure abt the bug zapping ability, but im highly impressed by the realistic look of the lights(fire)! cant tell from photos, but it actually looks like a real fire as it flickers!! its really pretty and gives a peaceful ambience feel. I placed on table in direct sun during day and turned on at night. It lasts at least 6 hours-not sure how long after that since i went to sleep! love the versatility. can be inside or out. has a white light option, but why would anyone use that when it has this?! small but not too small. but thinking i may want the larger size just for the beauty of it! i LOVE that it is solar powered. great buy! will update if i have any problems, but im thinking it will be perfectly for zapping mosquitoes bc the light is perfect for attracting them.

We had a terrible bug issue in our garden. As soon as we stepped foot in it, bugs would swarm us and fly in our eyes, ears, hair, pretty much anywhere that wasnt covered. I counted my mosquito bites one night and I had 25! I even sprayed myself with Off first. Now, we can go in and not be immediately swarmed. The day we got it, I only had 5 bites. Plus, now we can actually take our time and enjoy our garden.

I thought it would work better than it has. I set it out on my patio and I'm still bothered by insects. I can see the tiniest bugs in it when I look (gnats) but no mosquitoes, etc.

It does not work. The light does come on but it does not zap the bugs!

I tried this on both settings after a full charge and it did not zap one bug and there were about a million available. I sent it back and do not recommend.

This is a solar charged lantern, after 2 ( 48 hours ) of being out in direct sunlight it didn't charge up . Enough. Faulty advertising. The description of this lantern says it only needs 6 hours of charging in the sunlight, nope , that didn't work. . Only lasts for 1 hour after I charged it in the Sun. Bad product.

Returning to store!! Horrible. Have read the box %26 directions multiple times. Charge and use. best feature is the pretty firelight lantern look. Bug killer? absolutely not. Has been out in direct light, full charge %26 not one mosquito or even moth has perished in this so called bug zapper. Don't buy this one unless you want a pretty outdoor light.

Bought in store. Looks nice and sturdy but for us it doesn't stay on for more than five minutes at a time. At first we thought it, being solar powered, needed to charge in the sun so we set it out in sunlight for an entire day. Still doesn't work. Husband threw away the box so we can't return it. What a waste of money.

I purchased this because I have a job where I sit in my car for security purposes. I thought this would be quite ideal having in or around my car to keep the bugs away. I figured this has got to be better than spending money on fuel at almost five bucks a gallon to run the air conditioner, to keep the bugs away. The first night I used it, it didn't kill one bug! It didn't last through the night and....it ran out of power at about the 5-Hour mark. I will be returning it. I've also tried the "as seen on TV" personal conditioning system. it was useless. You have to keep adding water to it and it just makes everything more humid. Also, I have tried the air conditioning can/cup system. It didn't work very well. Mostly, because it has freezer packs that you have to refreeze.

i purchased this and it charged in the sun for an entire day. turned on after dark, which lasted 10 minutes. not worth buying. I wish I never purchased it.
