I found each log to be lightweight and great to have on hand for emergency or for casual spur of the moment fires. I worried about a chemical smell but was pleasantly surprised by the scent and impressed there was not lots of smoke generated.

Burned evenly for approximately 2.5 hours. Very low smoke. We burned it outside, but I would be comfortable burning them in the house as well.

The individually waterproof (!) wrapped logs is very convenient way for outdoor trips and camping. This was the first time we bought those, but compared to firewood they are more efficient. Not saying they will completely substitute our firewood, but in some cases I'll definitely prefer to go with those

However, I noticed a faint odor when the log was burning; it wasn't overly bothersome, but those with sensitivities should be aware. My delivery replaced my original order with these. They do not burn very long or create enough heat.

I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review. I am going to disagree with the first claim of this product, which is that these logs are easy to light. I lit the bag the log comes in, and the entire bag burned off of the log, and the log was barely scorched. I provided kindling, and it caught fire but quickly went out. I had to build a fire around the log in order to get the thing to burn. After that, it burned evenly and exceeded the 2 hour time frame significantly. Overall, I think this is a good product once you get it lit. I do recommend this product to others.
