I have a trimalleolar fracture and was given permission to start weight bearing. Sleeping in a CAM boot is torture so I asked my orthopedic surgeon for an alternative. He recommended a night splint for plantar fascitis. I got this one. It holds my foot in the 90° needed and is SO MUCH MORE COMFORTABLE than the CAM boot. It's so much easier to sleep also. I read other reviews that this one was comfortable and I completely agree. I don't even notice it through the night.
I was skeptical at first if this brace would help. I have been battling plantar fasciitis for 3 months and decided to break down and purchase this. I had seen it before but was hesitant. It took about 5 days before I could wear it for a full night, but ever since then, it is so amazing that I can wake up and not limp!!! And it has really helped with a reduction in my heel pain throughout the day. I have a job where I am on my feet moving all day long, so it is a struggle to get my foot to heal. This has really improved my quality of life! And the price is so reasonable for how much relief it brings.
This is the one! My wife has issues with her Achilles heel due to over straining and she loves this. The massage ball is hard enough to massage the foot but not damaging wise. She has been able to walk more and stand more due to the massager. It definitely has helped her pain.
I have been using this product to help with my plantar fasciitis in both my feet that is made worse by my bone spurs. Sleeping with these most nights has improved my pain a bit while I'm working my 40 hour a week job. It used to be I could only go about half way through my ten hour shift before feeling like I had knives jabbing in my heels but now I can make it 3/4 of the way through my shift before the pain sets in. I look forward to see if it will continue to help me. I've struggled with this for months and am very grateful, I was beginning to think surgery would be my only option.
Very comfortable and easy to assemble and put on. It did take about a week and a half for me to get use to having it on for part of the night. So be patient and little by little I kept it on longer by placing it on earlier in the evening while I was still awake and resting in bed or on the couch with my leg elevated. Glad I got this!
I bought this night brace to improve my neuropathy and drop foot. I use another brace during the day. This night time brace is very comfortable. I have no problem sleeping with it on. It keeps my foot and ankle in the proper position without feeling like I am braced up. Great product!
So happy I purchased this! Has cured my painful plantar fasciitis! Be warned that the first few nights you try this, your foot will go numb and be very uncomfortable! Just take it off and keep trying. Soon enough you will be able to keep it on through the night and your foot pain will go away. It took me about 2 weeks to start to feel a difference. The materials, straps, and stitching are very good quality. Im a size 11 shoe and fit was no problem- it looks like it can be adjusted for any size.
It definitely feels better than the huge boot the doctor gave me to wear. So far I can only wear it for an hr or so each day but I am slowly increasing in time. It takes some getting used to but is easy to wear.
The directions are not clear enough. In the description, it says this can be used for Achilles Tendonitis, but it lets the foot turn inward and outward. When put on it does not look like the picture. Stands out away from leg. May be doing it wrong. No contact number for seller or maker, to ask for help.
I woke up in the middle of the night with my foot hurting worse with the brace on it
