awesome thanks but read delivery notes ..product was placed on front porch instead of at back door like i requested was hard to drag around house being that it weighs 150 pds and i dont have a dolly ...othere than that is was delivered faster than i thought thx
Very good machine for the money. It starts easy even manually lots of power in lite %26 heavy snow. I put chains on mine %26 it`s a bear. also good on gas. I am very pleased with the unit %26 happy i ordered it. Sidewalk %26 driveway was great along with distance.Being a 2 stage it was amazing how far it would throw snow.
Well worth the money so far. sure beats a shovel and it really handles snow very good. Throws the snow a good distance of like 20 t feet. used on gravel drive and left about an inch and it worked perfect. also it showed up with the choke knob broken off. i had to contact the company and had to send the same pics 3 times but they finally mailed me a new carb. wich will fix the issue. The box was in perfect condition so the damage was done before it was boxed up. So wasnt the manufactors fault but they upheld the warranty. Very good service on their part just took a long time. luckily i was able to start it without the part but it was not easy
I have had this snowblower for two winters now. Works great even in wet heavy snow. The only problem I have had is the lock nut for the chute steering gear likes to back out. This stops the chute from being held in position, it just flops around! A little lock tight solved the problem, still a great machine.
After many years of using single stage snow throwers, it is great to have a powerful two stage thrower again. The top speed of this self-propelled unit is a bit slower than I'd like, but it's okay. Assembly instructions are a bit skimpy and have very small diagrams, however they're good enough that even I could put it together. Take my advice, though, and put it together in a warm and well-lit environment.
Upon opening the box to assemble, found bolts at the bottom of the box and lodged inside the chassis. Fortunately, Power Smart had an assembly video on their website since the written instructions were vague. Worked perfectly at the start of a blizzard and then the auger handle and cable detached. Had to pull the cable with one hand and hold the other handle with the other hand to finish. Was able to fix the handle and cable but part of the handle is bent. Overall, works but cheap construction. Buy the extended service plan!
Worked great on initial use. Set over the summer and would not start again. Although the company gives a two warranty, they said mine was void, because I purchased it from a second party website. Doesn't make sense to me, how did that company purchase so many, that Power Smart wouldn't stand behind their product?
It was not the snowblower that we ordered. The one we ordered had a LED headlight and a Chute control. The ones that sent it out, DOBEST, said we received the one they shipped to us. We did receive it, but it was not the one we ordered. Walmart is trying to be helpful, they said they with credit us 25% of what we paid. Time will tell, haven't been credited yet. Walmart said it was a case of fraud, what we ordered is not what they sent.
II received my machine on 12-11-25. I finally got the machine assembled on Jan 25, 2026. The choke knob was broken and laying in bottom of box. Walmart says do not contact them if any problems(first flag) contact the manufacturer. I contacted them on 1-26-25 via e-mail about problem. They responded I had not filled out warranty on 2-2-26. Sent info same day. They responded on2-5-26 warranty registered. 3-3-26 I send e-mail saying I still have not received parts to fix machine, 3-5-26 I received e-mail that the choke knob was part of the carburetor and that would need replaced, but we do not have replacement parts available. I should contact Wal mart. Went on day 86 from when I received machine and was told at local wal mart 90 day return policy was up nothing could be done! Wal mart used to be known for great service and a gresat return policy, not a1nymore. Anybody want to buy $750 boat anchor! Sorry I only paid $546.00 on black Friday! Do not buy. Put your money into a better brand. The Friction wheel disc, which provides drive, proved to be defective (disintegrated) after 1-2 uses. I was directed to use the warranty local repair shop which would have taken weeks during winter. Thankfully, I was able to beg the place I got it from to take it back.
