The spreader works as advertised. If you are using the spreader for spreading an ice-melt product, as I am, make sure to close the dispensing door before you stop cranking the spreader as those little solid pellets can jam the spreader. If the ice-melt has been dispensed, with no more available to spread, it does not jam.

This hand-held spreader works great for small grass planting jobs. It has several adjustments from fine grass seed to course distributions with no jamming. As a right-handed person, I found it easy to turn the wheel while holding the spreader in the left hand.

This was one of the easiest things to use and got my job done quick and easy. Must have for small area's around the yard.

Works very well I got it to spread for ant granules. I will end up using it to spread fertilizer and grass seed around the yard. I believe it's going to work.

It works as expected. However, as an older woman I would prefer a strap around the shoulders to help distribute the weight.
