I love it !!!!! It heats up very fast and it deep fry very good. Also a plus that’s it a multi cooker definitely will recommend.

Rhis purchase was to replace my 20 year old fry daddy. I upgraded to a slightly larger size. This will fit two fried pork chops at a time if that helps. I absolutely love the use of the basket when frying shrimp, French fried, onion rings or cheese sticks. It honestly makes me feel like a professional lol

Used it today for first time. Was nervous because other posts said it did not work well as a fryer. For me it did a great job. My preheat temp was 370 (so slightly shy of 400). Dropping the cold wings in caused a 100 degree drop. It slowly recovered to 320. 20 minutes was right time to get a dozen pretty crispy. The big container size was nice as it was more than enough to handle the initial boil surge.

I Love This Deep Fryer. We Use It Almost Everyday From Frying Chicken Fries , French Fries , Chicken , Fish .I’m So Happy I Bought This For My Family . And I Woukd Highly Recommend This Fryer If Your Looking For A Amazing Appliance .

Purchased other Presto pots and fryers in the past with no problems; however purchased this one and on the first use--only a few days after the purchase-- the glass top shattered and the plastic handle blew off the pot onto the counter. I hesitate now to ever use glass tops again. Now I have to find an aluminum top to use on the pot.

I have had this pot for a while and I do like the size of it and how much can fit in there. However the basket handle tends to loosen so I have to readjust with every use. Also, last night my lid just started cracking out of nowhere. I havent used it in a while so im not sure what would cause it to do that.

I really wanted this to make some homemade chicken tenders yet when I opened it it seemed to already have scratches all over the legs and handles. It even had what looked like grease stains on the basket ??

There should be a thumbs down on this instead of just a star rating, it doesn't deserve any stars. I got shocked by this product and a part melted. I contacted Walmart about this and they stated that it was not a product of Walmart and I should go my local store and ask someone about it this tech issue! 🙄 I contacted presto as well waiting to hear back from them.

fried good enough seemed to take longer than doing it in a pot on the stove. I had to use more oil than I do a pot on the stove. Also not as pictured, the handles are higher up on the one I received so the lid will not fit on the pot because of that. I am returning to Walmart. will just continue to use my own pot on the stove to fry with.
