Presto 10qt Kitchen Kettle Electric Multi-Cooker 06009

I am thoroughly enjoying my Presto 10 quart fyrer. I can cook enough wings for the entire family of six all at once. I am going to order another one so that when we want to have hot wings and fries, I can do my hot wings in one and the fries in the other for the entire family. we can all sit and eat at the same time. It's great for large batches of popcorn too.😊

The Presto 10 Quart Kitchen Kettle XL multi-cooker/steamer is Fantastic! I absolutely love this product. The multi uses for this productbarebamazing. You can do almost anything! I love the nonstick surface both inside and out. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe, can be fully immersed with the heat controller removed. There really isn't much this multi-cooker/steamer can't do. I also love the tempered glass lid so you can see inside without always having to remove the lid. Also love the steam/get basket. it can hook into the rim for easy draining. There isn't anything I don't like about this product. Highly recommend!!

Since i don't cook i had to ask for my wife's input on this review. This cooker is a plus for every kitchen. It saves a lot of time and gets you out of the kitchen quicker and produces a great healthy meal for the entire family. The first time i used this cooker i cooked a pot roast by browning the roast on both sides and then added potatoes, carrots and onions. This multi cooker with its huge 10 quart size is great for a single dish for the family. The pot roast turned out terrific and the entire family enjoyed the meal. Next we had a fish fry with fish, french fries and hush puppies. The versatile basket hooks onto the rim of the base to allow fried food to drain and allows oil to keep at selected temperature until next batch is ready to cook. The multi cooker with its 1800 watt 400 degree master heat controller fried 10 cups at a time to perfection. The fish, fries and hush puppies were brown on the outside and moist and fully cooked on the inside. I have not tried to blanch vegetables but i am sure it will do a great job. The heavy cast aluminum base seems to hold the heat more so you don't have to wait long between batches. The Presto Multi Cooker cleans up easily due to the non-stick finish on the inside and outside and it is dishwasher safe. It comes with the base cooker, the master controller, the basket and basket handle.The base has 4 feet that keep the base about 3 inches off the cabinet but i thought the cabinet top got a little to hot so i put a chopping block under it to make sure the counter top did not get to hot. The tempered glass top for the base fits snug and lets you see how the cooking is going. I can see using this cooker every day for a great meal in short time which is what the homemaker wants.

This electric kettle can seriously do it all! It would be easier to tell you what it can't do (wash itself) than tell you EVERYTHING it is capable of doing. First off, let's talk about the size. This electric kettle is 10 quarts...it's massive and it has no issue cooking/frying/steaming jumbo batches of food. The kettle features a non stick finish and a glass lid which allow you to easily keep an eye on your dish. Even better, the heat control is easily removable, and once you're finished with preparing your meal, this kettle is completely dishwasher safe. Now let's talk about the food I've made in here! Between this kettle and my crock pot, I feel like I'm set. In my kettle I have made chicken and tomato soup, I've made shrimp pasta, and I've made numerous casseroles. As a single woman, this helps me meal prep for the week and not worry what's for dinner every night. The temperature control is an excellent feature that maintains an even temperature and heat. I truly look forward to using this kettle daily because the end result is always well prepared, delicious food. This kettle can also deep fry and prepare desserts which I'm looking forward to doing during the holidays! I'm looking forward to many more years of using this dynamic, versatile cooker!

It was a gift so I really don't know how well it works

I recieved the Presto Electric Kitchen Kettle and multi cooker. This thing is enormous! I hate to sound like one of those late night tv ads but this thing does it all folks! It boils, frys, stews, and warms. The Presto 10 at multi cooker is my new best friend in the kitchen. I will admit that there was a bit of assembly required that took less than ten minutes and a Phillips head screwdriver. It come up to temperature fairly quickly for such a large pot. The lid has got to be the biggest and beefiest lid (which came fully assembled) of my vast collection. Overall I would highly reccomend this multi cooker to anyone who cooks. It works well as an electric frying pan as well. I even made pancakes in this one morning at camp in a pinch.

I use mine for frying chicken and fries. Food comes out perfect. This unit is larger than the original size. Makes it easier to fry.

Not always the best pricing so have to check around first. The shoppers need to be careful on outdated items. Have that happen to me before with outdated food items when I get the grocery home.
