If you cook bacon in a microwave this is the ticket! Be SURE to drape a paper towel over it - else it will make a mess inside your over - believe me. Depending on how you like your bacon cooked you'll have to experiment with times / powers to achieve consistent results.

This makes cooking bacon simple! Results are great, crisp bacon, no mess to clean up but the tray. I use less paper towels too. I suggest to lay a paper towel over the top so it does not splatter while cooking. Takes the same amount of time to cook and is delicious.

I had the older model and it cracked so I got this new model. It is better then the other older model. I am very pleased with it.

I've bought several microwave bacon cookers and this is the best one I've found. Since the bacon lays over the plates the grease drips off, so less fat for you to eat. Also, the bacon cooks evenly all over. It does take several minutes for 6-8 pieces of bacon but it beats getting splashed with hot grease from a frying pan. I think it's worth it. If you're a bacon lover you will love this I've learned a trick - once you remove the bacon, let the cooker cool a little then put one or two paper towels on the bottom of the pan to soak up the grease - toss to garbage and wahla, no mess. Does fine in the dishwasher. Great, simple and works! If you're a bacon lover, give this a try - you'll be surprised how well it works.

Obsessed with our new bacon maker which not only has enough room for more than 8 slices (which our old maker had and wasnt sufficient) but also cooks them super crisp! We love that its microwave safe and easy to clean. We plan on using it now during the holidays since the family loves bacon and we need to be more time efficient when cooking slices.

Gave this as a gift and my sister said it was great. She is happy with it.

This is a very useful device but the tray cracks after some use. This is our third replacement

I thought the cooker would be a larger, with more room to drape the bacon without it being too close together. It took longer to cook than when I put it on a paper plate covered with paper towels. Some parts did not get cooked because of where they were in the hanging process. I am not happy with it. I had ordered 3 sets with the intention of sharing with my 2 daughters, but I will not do that. I will be returning them.

If I am going to have to clean the microwave, floor, counter top and the cooker every time I use it I will try something else. And yes I draped paper towels over it in 2 directions. I was also disappointed in how much grease I still had to dab off of the bacon. I think next time I will simple try putting paper towels under and over the bacon on a platter. If any of you have a better microwave cooker that's not so messy I would like to hear about it.
