Pencils are great. But several of the art supplies I bought. -including this, were delivered without return addresses in Amazon Prime bags. Can’t return Walmart purchases to Amazon Nice way to avoid returns. But these pencils were as advertised. Prisma colors are expensive but my granddaughter says they are the very best for a “real” artist. She is 11
The colors are very vibrant, they go on smoothly and I havent had any issues with smudging. These were my 2nd purchase of colored penciles from this brand. I enjoy coloring as a way to just ease my mind. If youre going to use them to color pictures, i recommend buying coloring books that are made out of good quality paper. you will get the best experience out of the colors if you do.
I have used Prismacolor so I know the name for quality. Prismacolor Pencils are higher-end
Problem they do not come pre sharpen. Lead is good for drawing and blending. Good price
I love these Prismacolor pencils! They make my drawings so vibrant and bold and I love the finished look to it. The colors looks so professional like and these Prismacolor pencils are very smooth of drawing.
I’ve been using the Prismacolor Verithin pencils for several weeks and they’ve become my go-to for fine-line work. The ultra-hard, thin cores sharpen to a very fine point and hold it well—even after multiple sharpen‐ings. The pigment is rich and clean, giving vibrant color that’s perfect for outlines and detail. While they don’t give the same soft blendability as some of the softer-core pencils, that’s not the point of this line—these were built for precision. If you’re an illustrator or work with intricate designs, these are worth considering. If your focus is broad washes and heavy layering, you might want a softer option for those tasks. Overall: excellent for what they’re designed for. Packaging is very good.
Prismacolor colored pencil sets are the best I’ve ever used and I’m convinced they’re the best on the market, I’m no great artistic talent but they’re so easy to use and use well that my work is wondrous in comparison to when I’ve attempted using any other pencils.
Like the title says, if you’re used to Prismacolor premiere these just can not hold up to those pencils. It’s unfortunate that I’ve been spoiled with such great pencils that all others seem obsolete
i was excited for the product, but one of the pencils had an error that led to it breaking apart after applying minimal pressure. super bummed but the others seem okay.
These Prismacolor Verithin pencils are horrible. I am a Prismacolor fan and have other verithins....SO I'll start by saying they are not sharpened. Trying to sharpen them didn't work with any of my sharpeners. There are little empty spots in the colored part and the wood was 2 different kinds on each pencil. Don't expect quality in this set.
