Proctor Silex Hot Sandwich Toaster, Omelet and Turnover Maker, White

This sandwich maker is really neat. I have not yet made an actual sandwich in it because I am too busy making pancake bites in it. I can pour pancake batter in the wells, let it cook and I have finger pancakes I can just dip in the syrup. I had one a long time ago that I made sandwiches in and loved it. Buy one, you will not be sorry.

I previously had a different brand like this sandwich maker that I can no longer find so I was kinda hesitant when purchasing. But Im so glad I went through with it because it works even better. My favorite is making grill cheese, tuna melt, and egg omelet! It is fast and cooks excellently. Cleaning after making a sandwich is also so easy. I was kinda scared the cheese would stick when making grill cheese but it just wipes off. I LOVE IT!

There has been no issues with this product. The children in the house love it and can be very creative with there lunches. I would recommend this anytime.

I had a sandwich maker several years ago and I loved it. So I ordered this one. I really do like it and it comes in handy. The sandwiches just have a much better flavor when using the sandwich maker. I only gave this product a 4 rating because it doesn't come with any recipes. The book says to go to the web address but, there are no recipes for the sandwich maker on it. I did do a Google search and found different recipes on how to use the sandwich maker. I just wish it had come with recipes.

It met our expectations, toasting at a reasonable speed. We also use it to prepare some eggs, which are later placed in the sandwich... I used it with "tramezzini" bread from President Choice (thin and spongy) and also with corn tortilla... Easy to clean except when spilling egg. Good value, overall.

could not get open to use....thought maybe me due to age and poor h and strength. but my children and grandchildren could not open either without difficulties i returned it

I received the item new and sealed however it is defective. The lid is stuck in the locked position and no matter how many times I tried it will not open. I was looking forward to using this for a variety of things.

The latch is made of cheap plastic and broke on the second use. I also could not find a loaf of bread that had slices large enough to fit in order for the edges to seal.

The latch is really bad…I have to take a knife to open it. I've learned to unplug it way before your sandwich will be hot or it will burn before you can get it open. It's very hard to clean…even just a piece of cheese will run out in the openings of the unit.

The lock is hard to unlock when using. I got frustrated and unplugged and let it cool. Planning to return it.
