Prunelax Natural Senna Extract Maximum Relief Laxative for Occasional Constipation, 30 Tablets

I'm a female, 133lbs for reference. I've always been a person who has trouble being "regular". But during certain situations it's extra. I've tried Metamucil during a pregnancy. After a surgery where I was under anesthesia %26 then bunch of pills for a few days, I started stool softeners, regular laxatives, and milk of magnesia (worst thing I ever put in my mouth) to no avail! Drinking 12oz of prune juice is what saved me that time (since eating a handful of dried prunes isn't as effective). However, this Prunelax actually works for me! I've experimented with taking the full 2 pills, vs 1.5 or 1 (but 2 is best for sure affect). But for me it can be unpredictable. Take before bed, but seems to not take the same amount of time. Sometimes 11 hrs, sometimes 8 hrs - once 6 hrs! Twice i woke up in middle of night feeling that sick feeling in my tummy, and felt nauseous thinking I'd throw up. But after that wave left, it worked. This stuff does cause the runs for me (sorry tmi) so that's not pleasant but it's effective once in a while for emergency. Don't plan anything next AM til you know how your body will react! I'm still early in my pregnancy %233, but had to use this a few times in the early wks. Recently switched my magnesium vit from glycinate form to oxide form to see if it'll help too. And started taking Dulcolax (softener) 2-3x a day with meals to stay ahead (even though nurse will say just drink a lot of prune/apple jc haha). But I'm glad i have Prunelax as a backup if needed! I could always try taking 1 pill every other day and see if that's gentler on my system to keep things regular. Might experiment a bit more!

Takes a few hours (for me anyway) but it will definitely move you!!!! Didn’t experience any cramping or discomfort like some stool softeners cause.

It works really good, not instantly but after this product does it's thing in your system, you "WILL" get great relieve. If your stopped up, you can't go wrong with PRUNELAXS NATURAL.

They don't taste good so don't chew them, but as far as relief they're perfect for me. I take two as soon as I'm up and I get relief in about 4 hours. I love them. I'm not left with bad gas afterwards which is a huge plus. 10/10 recommend.

May cause a little cramping! But overall it gets the job done! I was going through tons of miralax until a friend of mine recommended the prunelax liquid. But my lil man wouldn’t drink it! So I bought the tablets and crushed them.. gave it to him before bed and he went first thing the next morning!!

Most comfortable and effective relief for constipation I've ever tried. I only take one at night. Two causes slight diarrhea. In either case, no cramping.

I have suffered from constipation for the past 10 years or so. This works...I take one before bed and the next day a quality stool. Usually take from 2 -3 times per week. This is the only thing that has every really worked for me. Try it!!!!!!

I was having trouble going to bathroom and was suffering from bloated stomach and constipation. I took these tablets and was able to use the bathroom and feel more comfortable.

This was recommended by a friend and has worked wonders. I only have to take one to two pills at bedtime and the next morning I will have a bowel movement.

I thought the dosage sounded a little high so only took 1/2 a pill which is only 60 of the recommended 250mg ..it caused 2horrible diarrhea then nausea and dry heaving/ vomiting. I can’t even drink ginger ale at this point I would never have taken if I new this was a possible side effect I feel so sick senna must not be for everyone I can’t imagine what a full dose would’ve done likely a hospital visit? I’d probably need an iv Never again I’m only 43 but I think this could really hurt someone older never had this reaction to other types I’ll stick with saline in the future
