Normally I don't buy things labeled "Dietary Supplements" because the FDA doesn't test them, but the pharmacy didn't have prescription melatonin, so I got this brand recommended by my doctor because it is highly rated for purity, quality, and potency by independent laboratories. The capsules are very small and easy to swallow, and don't appear to have any dyes added.

I didn't know what side effects if any would take place after using Melatonin, but other than a slight fuzzy feeling after the first time using it, that went away and the product works well.

The sustained release not only helps you go to sleep, but it helps to maintain sleep. I feel this brand and formula is more effective than others on the market.

While low in mg, the sustained release has been effective for me. The cheaper grocery store alternatives that were higher mg and not SR were less effective.

My wife needs Melatonin that is free of Vitamin B6 and is extended release. She likes it and uses it for a good night's sleep. I would recommend Pure Encapsulations Melatonin-SR.

Most Melatonin comes with Vitamin B6. But too much B6 might cause nerve damage. This doesn't contain B6 and is tired release. Works great!

Arrived in good condition. Seems like a good value. I have not used this yet.

I use it every night works like a charm. Never groggy. Just the perfect amount.

This newer form of Melatonin was recommended by a health care professional, as an improved sleep aid. The capsule is easy-to-swallow. We are,as yet, not sure of its efficacy. Getting to sleep is still a problem, but there are few wake-ups; that is an improvement over regular Melatonin. The price point is higher than we'd like; but it is now part of our nightly regimen .
