Pyrex Basics Glass Bakeware Set Value Pack, 3qt Oblong and 8inch Square

Pyrex is still the best. Just right for baking and casseroles. The handles make it safer and easier to transfer from oven to cooling rack. At age 74 I was delighted to find these. Pyrex glass is great for corn breads and most baking chores, such as baked chicken thighs. These work fine in the oven and clean up is just as simple as ever. At this price I don't mind baking and gifting pan and all. These do not come with matching lids but the price was so good it was well worth foregoing the lids. You can store these in fridge with a cling wrap or aluminum foil lid if you need one. Attention new cooks, these are oven and microwave, but not safe for cooking on the range.

I bought this just for the small dish because it fits perfect in my Kitchenaid counter top oven. My full size oven broke and it's too costly right now for me to replace so I got the Kitchenaid. I was going through my cabinets and found the large dish and was wondering where it came from haha. The price for both is what it costs to get one small one.

I am 82 years old, I have always used Pyrex Glass bakeware. It has always been my preferred brand. I use it too for making JELLO. The see thru glass is what I appreciate. I only take a casserole out of the oven if it is bubbling on all four sides as well as on the top in the middle. I love my pyrex baking dishes.

These two Pyrex dishes are awesome! I have other Pyrex dishes and they don't let me down. I cook so many different meals in the oven and deserts in the fridge.

After decades of using many different types of bakeware, I keep coming back to the reliable Pyrex. There is another American made brand I like as well. The tempered glass is strong and thick and does not disappoint. Sometimes simple is best, and the oblong shape of the larger serving dish works well for casseroles, lasagne, and large quantities. The square dish is used for desserts, gelatins and smaller main dishes portioning. Price is low, quality is high, cant be beat.

I have used this product for most of my life. Pyrex is the best glass pan and its dishwasher safe and great to use for casserole dishes and baking. Cakes or brownies can be made using the smaller pan. When I was in my teens I made a pineapple upside down cake for my home used the bigger dish, and I believe it was delicious because it didn’t burn, due to this glass dish . I’ve made sweetish meatballs, yummy potato casserole and chicken casseroles for my family and never had any problems. Just soak in cold water and scrub with easy. All in f my glass dish pans will last forever if properly cared for. I bought these two glass dishes at a very good price, I need them for my third casa. Thank you, Can’t beat this price at Walmart.

Item SHATTERED inside of my oven the very first time I used it. Was baking brownies at 350. Shatters within 8-9 minutes of being inside the over. Glass was EVERYWHERE. Brownie batter was all over the bottom of the oven. It was awful to clean up.

Never received item. I did get a refund but I needed this item quickly as a replacement, and was counting on the delivery from the time I ordered it. I have no idea where the delivery person dropped it off (8:30p) but I checked all of my neighbors on the small cul-de-sac which I live and none of them received it. The photo of the front door doesn’t match any thing around me. Big fail by Walmart. Refund wasn’t enough here.

These are poorly made and the name doesn't equal good grade of kitchen ware like I used to associate with it. The bottoms are warped. I can see where the glass was blown or what have you on the bottom of the pan. The glass is much thinner and seems more fragile. The color lacks the greenish-blueish tint my older PCs all have. I'm disappointed in Pyrex (very much NOT 'PYREX')! I'll look for another brand. Or looking into stainless steel %26 parchment paper.
