worked perfect in husband's hearing aids
I have had severe hearing problems as a result of 20 years in the Navy. Since I retired in 1991, I have gone through several hearing aids. I have used almost every hearing aid battery available and Rayovac is head and shoulders above all the rest. I can count on at least one week's performance out of my Rayovac batteries in each aid, which means no more frustrating or embarrassing moments during the week when the batteries fail. I have my Rayovac batteries on constant order because I refuse to use any other batteries!
I thought I was having problems with my hearing devices. And after spending allot of money on other hearing batteries, Not only found out their batteries did NOT last sometimes a DAY!!! But there was nothing wrong with my hearing devices. It was the poor quality of the other batteries. I am EXTEMELY happy with your batteries and will ONLY use your product from now on!!!
Thank you for the promptness of shipping, our "hearing ability" thanks you also for this. The batteries arrived within just a few days, nice! We are both using them and they do last longer than what we had and the clearity is very good. The information has been passed on to a friend and hopefully she will purchase from you also. Thanks again, you will be hearing from us in the future.
I've tried other brands of hearing aid batteries, but found Rayovac lasted about 7 days compared to the others that lasted only about 3 days. The only problem I had with Rayovac was finding them in the stores. They were usually sold out. That's why I decided to order them on-line. However, the first batteries I used from my on-line order only lasted 3 days. I was very disappointed. I'm hoping that was just a one-time thing and the rest of my order will follow the pattern I've come to expect from Rayovac and last 7 days. I would have given this product 5 stars, if it had not been for my most recent experience with them.
I do NOT like the new packaging. For the elderly, they are almost IMPOSSIBLE to get to. I understand this is the new “child-proofing” but for those of us who need them, there are rarely small children involved. I would have given all 5 stars except for this issue!
The package requires a scissor to cut batteries out. Plastic package is so 'tough' that it is very hard to cut. After cutting, I went to remove the battery and cut my finger on the plastic. Not very good for senior hands.
The packaging on these batteries is impossible to open! Child proof and Adult proof. Beware do not purchase this item in its current packaging. An older person with arthritic hands cannot access the batteries even with the recommended scissors because the plastic packaging is so rigid it cannot be cut as instructed.
They battery life is less than the competitors batteries. The packaging I couldn't open. it took a friend using my branch trimmers to get a battery out. I had him cut them all out to store in a easier container. There should be 2 different buying options. One for people with children and one for adults without children and useful for senior citizens.
These hearing aid batteries are hard to open because they need to be cut out of the package. Cutting them out ruins the scissors, and requires a lot of strength. I prefer the easy open packaging and have ordered those (same brand, paid a little more, but that's okay).
