The Review of Releev

Anonymous April 23, 2009

this product is good, but it has a bad smell to it, its in Liquid form so you have to use ur finger to put it on, and it has a Brownish-Green color to it. But the over all use of it is great. it works fast even though it is expencive, its $17.97.

Out of all the medicine, I think this one is the best. It always heals my sores really fast.

at last a product that delivers

funniebunnie January 24, 2016

I have had many cold soars through out my life. Over the years Ive tried every over the counter cold soar treatment until abreeva hit the shelf. It wasn't perfect but it did shorten the life span of my breakouts faster than anything else ive tried. Then i started looking at reviews of releev after seeing it next to my go to treatment at 6 in the morning after i woke up with a familiar tingle on my upper lip. I was standing in walgreens lip care isle, in one hand i had my usual remedy, and in the other, this new product people are saying works better. I took a leap of faith and purchased the releev......best decision of my life! (besides getting my tubes tied) I was scared after putting it on the first time. It was liquid and watery. Way different from the thick creamy abreeva ive become used to. I thought i was doomed, my soar by now was a small blister and well past the first tingle. After it dried i felt instant relief! The burning was gone. Throughout the day it stayed the same size. I am now on day 2 and the blister is flat and dry. It never got any bigger! It wasnt noticable at all. Im in love with this product, i cant say it enough! Ive never done a review in my life! That is how stongly i feel satisfied with releev. Thank u.

Works!!!

Okay so like life's not hard enough but try being a teenager who gets cold sores. Ugh Not because of kissing but because I've gotten them since the age of 5! It's always been so embarrassing for me. I missed countless days of school. This was right about the time the oral medications came out. Abreva I didn't even exist yet. The first time I used Abreva it worked but after that forget about , shorten the time from about 14 days to about 7-10. I have scars from all the cold sores I got during my teenage years. I thought everything changed once I started taking oral medication like Acyclovir but that was no match for being a mother having a job and constantly being sick and rundown. I had a compromised immune system. They started back up again. I was devastated , couldn't look people in the eyes. I found Releev and WOW did it help. At first it take them away %100 but as all things we take the virus gets used to it.. but still its a blister blaster !! It takes the blisters away but drying them out within a day-4 Gone once it's in the scab stage it super easy to cover. Tip Take a hot shower helps remove scabs.

Relief

subby January 25, 2015

I was at an out of town meeting when I felt the tingle of a cold sore coming on. I did not have anything to put on it so I went by pharmacy and was looking for something that would work and quick. I had tried Abreva before with mediocre results. I bought the ReLeev even though it was expensive and a small bottle, and lo and behold relief came quick. the tingle quit and the sore never materialized. I do not mind the price as long as it works. Great product. It must be good, it is usually out of stock on the shelves and I had to order online.

Aaaaah-mazing

For years and years I have tried cold sore medication. Nothing I have found has worked to stop them!!! This product is the greatest thing ever-if you've suffered as long as I have with cold sores-I put it Obama it literally stops them. No swelling lip, no cracked, itchy-healing but still looks awful a week later look. I will never ever purchase another medication. Worth every cent!!!!

Has been my go to medicine for 10 years!!!!!

PrInCeSsCoLdSoRe November 6, 2016

Like most people, I have been getting cold soars since I was a young teenager. I have tried just about everything on the market from Abreva to Herpacin..... you name it. In fact, until I was given this to try I used Abreva religiously. However, after trying Releev, I never went back to Abreva. This worked immediately and it worked well! It cleared up any cold sore I had in 2 days tops. If I sensed a cold sore coming on and applied Releev, the cold sore never even formed!!! Great stuff, try it and see for yourself!

I have used it for years! Highly recommend!

feverblisterfree January 20, 2015

I have used Releev for many years. Just like the other reviews, if I catch it when I first feel the tingle I can keep it from developing completely. Even if a little bump has started it usually stops it. If I'm out of the product, which I rarely am, I keep it on hand, and have to delay getting started it reduces the pain and development tremendously. If a bad fever blister does go ahead and form, I use this the first few days to dry it up and then abreva as it's going away to keep it moist. It's worth the money and it does last.

Does what I need it to do

Anonymous March 29, 2012

I get a LOT of cold sores, fever blisters, or whatever you like to call those hideous lumpy oozing mouth sores. One day I had one coming on, couldn't find my tube of Abreeva, saw this in the store, and thought, well, it's got to be better than nothing. It definitely was! The sore never even develops when used while it was just a tingle. If you wait until it starts to surface, it does take a little longer, but I'd say it still helps it to heal a lot faster. Usually for me they last a week and a half or so, with Releev they only last three days or so. Downsides, well, it smells horrible, and it's a gross mossy brownish color. But, you only use a drop per treatment, so even that tiny bottle will last a good while, and if it works, I'm willing to overlook the smell and color!

Worked to shorten duration

Inkwhelp December 20, 2012

I did not catch the cold sore when it was a tingle and by the time I noticed it there were three small blisters already formed. I usually use Abreva which only works for me before the blister forms. I applied the Releev to the blisters which were burning and tender. Almost immediately the pain went away. The Releev kept the blisters from getting any bigger and within a day the blisters were turned to a small scab. Within four days the entire outbreak was virtually gone, there was still a scab there but it was small and barely noticable and almost completely healed. I noticed that when the scab was healing it was not a thick crusty dark scab but a more flesh toned scab. Some reviewers commented on the smell. I did not notice any smell. I noticed that the product made my cold sore feel a little tight but this might be because it was drying it out? The only reason I did not give five stars is because of the price and the size of the bottle. It is a little expensive. Also, I applied the liquid more than the bottle said. They recommend three times a day, but I reapplied everytime I ate or drank or brushed my teeth; about ten to twelve times a day. Fortunately you only need a tiny drop with each application. Overall this is a pretty good product. Anyone who has ever had a cold sore knows how painful and embarassing they are and how long they take to heal. This did not get rid of the cold sore (nothing does) but it really did shorten the duration from ten to five days. It seemed like it kept it from getting worse and the healing process started immediately.
