Renogy Rover 60 Amp 12V/24V/36V/48V DC Input MPPT Solar Charge Controller Auto Parameter Adjustable LCD Display Solar Panel Regulator

High quality MPPT Controller. Currently I have it hooked up to (5) 100 watt Renogy Solar panels and (2) 12v Smart Lithium Iron Phosphate 100ah batteries and a 3000 watt Renogy Inverter. I plan on adding (2) more batteries in the future. This system is functioning flawlessly thus far. I am currently running a Instant On Boiler and (3) circulating pumps as whole house heating system. Paired with the BT-1 module it is easily monitored.

I have 3 of the Rover 100 Amp MPPT Solar Charger's in use and 1 still in the box for a spare. I've had no problems with any of them and they have been running for about 9 months. I would definitely recommend these chargers!!!

Took the place of 3 electrical units and does a fantastic job. Wow.

Installed 10 Renogy 175w flexible panels on my Motorhome. Used this controller for higher capacity rating. I am in Albuquerque NM in Feb and am getting 80 amps of charge in middle of day in winter with my system. Controller is rated for 1300W of solar input; the most I have measured so far in winter is 1138W which gave me 80.34 amps of charge to my 12v battery pack at 11:50am. Based on these numbers I should get 12% more power at 1300w of panel input and a battery charge of 90 amps. Note: the panels are rated at max efficiency at 12 v to deliver 9 amps of output each - thus 90 amps total at optimum output.

Does a great job , everything I expected and more , keeps my 4, 100 amp hr toped off , wish I would of gotten a 60 instead of the 40, newbie at solar , but my 400 watt system, worked great when we had 2 black outs, ran the refrigerator and 55 in big screen, all on a 1000 watt renogy inverter, Thanks for a great job no problems, with anything I've purchased from renogy

The charge controller was an easy install in my prewired for solar Winnebago Micro Minnie. For convenience you should add a DC circuit breaker to be able to disconnect the solar when you are removing batteries for service. No solar can be connected if it's not connected to a battery. I recommend the bluetooth option as it makes monitoring super easy.

Easy to install, accurate, and reliable so far (only been using it for 3 days). Im only running one panel to a series and parrell tied two battery system. Charges well, easy to program and understand. I will have to disconnect the load from the load terminals of the charge controller only because I charge the batteries in parnell but have a SPDT relay to change the bank from parrell to series (24v) upon operation.

I like the ease of operation, but feel a need for some improvements for installation. I think the wire clamps for attaching solar panels etc. need to be more substantial and easier to open and close. I would also like to have the labels at the entry points of the individual wires be marked on the front of the controller- it was nearly impossible to see how to line them up with the correct connecting point once the controller was mounted on the wall.

Nice product, MPPT seems to work well. LCD interface is intuitive and easy to work with. The Bluetooth interface is less friendly since you have to go thru a web style Interface first. I'd like a more direct approach.

Connection lugs easily accept #6 AWG welding cable and are quite robust. The controller itself is lightweight (for those weight conscious applications) compared to other manufacturers with similar specifications but it doesn't seem to be a problem. Get the bluetooth module! It's a great help. I do wish it had more programmable features with more clear explanations on programming. Specifically I would like to modify Renogy's LiFePO4 charge profile to fit my needs.
