Excellent!!! Works as expected! in addition to these sticks I poured bleach down the drains and sprayed bleach water on kitchen surfaces. I also bought Professor Amos FAST FLOW SUPER 7 MICROBIAL DRAIN CLEANER just in case the offender was there. Another item I used to get rid of them was Dawn Power wash spray. When they were landed on a surface, I sprayed them and the insects was not able to move. I could wipe them up without trying to catch them! I originally tried apple cider vinegar with plastic wrap, poked with holes. That caught a lot of them, but it also caused them to produce more than what I started with. That's when I bought these sticks. I tried to upload a pic, but it wouldn't upload.
I very much appreciate the effectiveness to rid of mosquitoes , it's safe and easy usage until it's time for disposal! Thank you!
As I was heading out into big country, for camping, I thought I would try these just to see if they worked at all. YES they do. I have since bought a few more and use only one per camp site because I don't need more. place it in a tree low enough that it doesn't stick to the leaves, or branches and there ya go.
We live on a small laje and get our share of flies and mosquitos so we tried this and it works great. we now change it out every week and we're so happy we got it. We hang it right under the light on the front and back porch. It looks good and has truly solved our insect issues.
While I added syrup as stated I have not had one fly caught BUT a ton of gnats and few moths and just for the gnat catching I'm going 5 stars as we've been invaded lately by those
Works great, it actually seems to be drying the flies to them. I haven't had any luck with any of the other fly traps with this one works really well highly recommend
I've been buying these for a while now and they work very well although they were $0.74 cents each when I first started buying them they are now close to $5.00 each and don't know why! Why did they go from $0.74 cents each to almost $5.00 each?
Think this would have worked if it would have stayed together. The stick separated from the top the first day up and fell apart.
I put a small quantity of honey at the base. It's been a week without catching any large flies. Only some small insects were caught. It does not seem to attract flies. I put it right next to the patio screen door. 2-star is a fair rating.
These are inexpensive and made well enough but did not work for me at all. I put them up in two separate rooms with maple syrup/sugar as suggested and they have caught only one bug between them. I had some better results with fly strips. I wound up spending on an electric bug zapper which is much more effective.
