I really like this machine overall, but buyers should be aware of a few practical details before purchasing.
Assembly took me about 5½ hours, but I completed it entirely on my own. For reference, I'm a 58-year-old woman, and while the instructions weren't perfect, the parts were well labeled and everything fit together properly. It's doable solo, just time-consuming.
The machine feels solid and smooth in use. In my opinion, it's best suited for moderate weights, fine for me, but not sturdy enough for men who train at higher weights. They would need to do single-leg work.
One important clarification: while the listing mentions 1,200 lb plate loading, that number does not reflect a realistic working weight for most users. The machine is sturdy, but it's not designed to be used dynamically anywhere near that amount. I believe the sticker says 560lbs. I wish that distinction had been clearer in the description.
Another minor annoyance: when using large diameter plates, they can hit the ground at the bottom of the movement, which interrupts range of motion and can be a bit frustrating.
That said, for the price point, the machine offers a lot. It's smooth, stable, and comfortable, and I'm happy with it overall. Just go in with realistic expectations about capacity and setup, and you'll likely enjoy it.
