Made my gaming experience much more fun
Thank you so much my grandson turns 15 precisely today. He wanted me to gift him these lights. Already let me know he received them and is very happy. He really liked them.
The colors are pretty, but the 1%-100% lighting power isn't significant. 1% still quite bright, 100% not enough to replace lamp/ceiling lights.
I have trouble with the adhesive coming away from the wall at each end--even with the plastic clippy things. It is WAY too bright. I bought this to light my stairs at night. The 'dark' colors are still way too bright for what I wanted it for, even at 5%. It works, just not the way I was hoping. And the power cords are WAY too short.
bought my son a set a year ago for cheaper but he loves these because it all links together and only need one remote and/or app to run them all. so needless to say its worth it.
One strip of the two separate strips broke almost immediately; the connection point was wonky from the start and it failed to sync half the time.. so i tried to electrical tape it and it worked for a moment and then completely died. I'm in love with this Smart Home stuff but we need a better build i think. would get 5 stars otherwise.. i dont know what to do with this broken strip, i dont know how to solder and it is all beyond me. halp.
"music mode" is pathetic. no matter how hard I try I can't really get it to sync with music/tv. the 5$ one that came with my pantry has better audio response
I bought this and immediately it looked to be an upgrade from my Kasa light strips. And in some ways it was, the PROS: Higher quality feel, individual sections, control through the app. The CONS: Doesn't properly stick to the walls, it's a weak adhesive, weaker than it has any right to be at 40 dollars, and the light effects stopped working already. I haven't had this for 2 months and only 1 of the 9 effects still works. I did nothing to the light strips, it was just like this one day. Major disappointment, and the lighting you're getting is barely adjustable, the difference between 1% and 100% looks like what should be from 50% to 100%. 1% shoulder be WAYYYY dimmer because people want to use it as night lights without it beaming in their faces at night. Another CON: you can't turn off individual sections as far as i know, either all of the sections are on or all are off, which makes no sense because there are effects that only utilize 1 section at a time, so it feels like something is missing. Overall, these 32 feet would be worth it if it was 30 bucks at most , because blowing 40 dollars on this expecting an upgrade was an honest mistake.
I bought these LEDs to light up the perimeter of my Roku TV and they broke in under 2 weeks. Out of no where the rubber coating broke on the corners of the TV. Only 2 of the LEDs work now. Don't waste your money on this horribly cheap product.
